Now this is getting really annoying!!! another craigslist thread

Im not a spammer nor do i want to flood craigslist with my ads to get potential leads, but i do want to some what be relevant and have a decent flow of circulating posts. if you go to the san diego market craigslist and venture off into the cellphones by owner section you will see this guy completely flooding the site with his posts on buying iphone and such.... so when i decide to post to my local market my post becomes irrelevant and gets pushed down so far that it will be on pages 3 or 4 within a few mintues. So my question is, is this guy for sure using an out of country service or has he developed a method that works for him? A lot of his ads seem to be duplicated and most run with symbols and emojis in the headlines. The section where it shows pricing usually it is a bunch of numbers or symbols. Im just really curious to find out some of his tactics? if anyone has any idea or opinions about this mad man shoot a reply to this forum. Im eager to see what you guys think???

    Whatever the answer is...

    Flag/report the spam posts.

It might help fixing that issue.

They might be using something like

Craigslist Posting Software | CL Auto Poster | Classified Ad Poster

    Hope that helps!

Trying to flag down a professional who is probably using multiple accounts and ip spoofers is probably a waste of time. In general the Craigslist flagging system is broken. The owner just doesn't seem to care about keeping bad people and spammers off there. They could fairly easily filter out all the stupid survey offers (from companies that don't pay or who think it's appropriate to pay out after you earn $1400- little high to trust someone from CL without a credit application and a few other things), but they don't. If you report people a lot, they will take you for a reporting bot and block you or ghost your ad responses.(I've had it happen to me). Here is what I would suggest.
Determine the spammers name and location. (Reply to his ads to find out). Take that info to an attorney- you should be able to get a free evaluation, and ask whether you have grounds to sue and would stand a reasonable chance of being compensated for your lost profits. Unfortunately you may not be in a strong position because he is violating a 3rd party (Cl's) terms rather than something that he signed with you. If you could get him in front of a jury- well people hate spammers.
