Recruiting Affiliates Unconventional Way?
I am setting up affiliate program ( not my first but i was not very successful in previous ones ) and i wanted to find few affiliates before launch. I was researching for places that are best for recruiting besides this forum, and found out that Upwork and Freelancer are doing the job just fine.
Lets see the stats:
I posted on both platforms 5 times during 4 days and i got 367 people interested in promoting our products. From all of them 301 were unfamiliar with affiliate marketing and were asking for hourly rate. Around 20 were established marketers but were interested in fixed prices and 6 were asking 100% profit from the service If someone says, well that is good you can have the emails than. Its maybe good for ebook or software but with services its kind of impossible.
Now we removed 327 people from the list and proceeded with the rest of them. I seated up dummy website to test their abilities and WOW. Maybe the offer was to good $10 for keyword research but in close to 2 days there are 137 sales from 7 affiliates.
Now i am more seriously interested in finding other good sources for recruiting affiliates that are not overcrowded and hard to spread the word out.
