    But there are also other very good as myspace and squidoo.
    But I would recommend you create you a mailing list, which allows you to stay in close touch with your potential buyers, and therefore more sales opportunities.

    You could also try using different social media. It is one of the easiest and most effective form of advertising.

    I would recommend that you try promoting your business in China since the US is already saturated and busting at the seams with marketers!

    Promote your products or services to the people who are drowning in cash and probably need what you're offering ... China is the first country that comes to my mind.

    Sure, if you want to promote your business in the US without paid advertising like media ads, you can:

    -print flyers and hand it over to passers-by
    -create business cards and hand it over to people
    -use your vehicle by pasting your business ad on it
    -submit your business information to yellowpages etc etc

      Not one of those methods is free, as the OP requested.

      As for just about every other suggestion that the OP use social media, in order to do so, one must first be social. You will note that evamax has yet to respond to one post in this entire thread.

    Hello evamax,

    Is your business in a specific niche?

    If so, you can join Facebook groups related to your niche and make some promotion, not something too aggressive though.

    Another idea would be to join forums relevant your niche and contribute some valuable information there, interact with the community and promote your business occasionally.

    Those are some simple ways with immediate appliance.

    You can use different free traffic sites like forums and advertising sites and send a little traffic to see how your website will convert. This is a business though and we need to be in full control and to really succeed you are going to have to create or build up a marketing budget for your business.
