    Thnx,

Of course in 5 years this ( like FB) will fall out of popularity. It does not mean you should NOT utilize it.

But it is fleeting, that's all

My wife and I were discussing this. And how now FB is totally falling out of favor with the teenies and tweenies. It's on to Instagram and Snapchat. ( Just the other day my 17 niece looked at me like I was nuts
when asked about whether she was on FB or not. She said, "No Way " )

We both surmised it is cyclical and a form of rebellion. Once the 10 year olds ( now) get to age 16 they will want their own way of communicating. And it will NOT be the one the "old folks" used with FB
    and Instagram

"Go to the well that gives you water." Ancient Proverb.

And, the reason I don't try to sell to the Swifties, or the Beiber Heads.

I'm a boomer. Sell to boomers. Go where they go, sell where they shop. No need to be hip, in tune or on the hot fad.

And, at 10,000 a day turning 64, another decade of the parade, won't have any shortage of customers. SnapChat and what ever follows will just be shiny objects in the rear view mirror, and as Meatloaf said...

"they appear closer than they are".

Keep up if you want, I'll be sitting at the Oasis sipping a cool one from the well.

Totally agree with you. If I were younger and had more energy (say, during the 1400s or so), I'd be doing sooo much more with taking advantage of these fleeting technologies.

Personally I'm waiting for the 2.4K modem to come back into style.....

I use SnapChat like you, with friends and family. I think if you have an audience you should definitely use SnapChat to give people that personal connection. But if you're small, I don't think theres a point to it until you get a bigger following.
