What are the best ways to utilize keywords for Videos?

I am trying to understand the best way to add specific keywords to my videos so that they rank higher and get more views.

    Your question is really not clear, if you are asking where to add keywords to your video you can find that under the info and setting tap where it say tags on your youtube channel.

    If you are asking on how to get the keywords well there are many ways but the Youtube Auto-complete feature on youtube is powerful to easily find keywords that you can use to rank your videos easily. http://ubersuggest.org/ is a tool that will make the process easy for you hope that did help

    Here's the strategy I use, that works very well for me.

    1) Keyword in Title (twice if possible)
    2) Keyword as video file name
    3) Keyword with list of related keywords in description
    4) Keyword and related keywords in Tags
    5) Create new playlist and name it as your keyword - add video to this playlist
    6) Use custom thumbnail - name the file of your thumbnail image as your keyword

    There are alot of other great strategies out there, but this one has worked the best for me.
