Best Converting Affiliate Products?

I'm not looking for exact products per say, unless you want to mention...

I'm looking more Niche specific.

I got rid of all my adsense sites, they were only bringing in a little bit each month and were costing too of my time to maintain. That and they barely paid hosting fees.

I've realized a much prefer Affiliate Sales. Not only from the $$$ perspective but I really do enjoy it.

I've been working no a membership site of mine for the past 2 weeks and havent had any income as I've mostly quit affiliate marketing as well..

I'm in need of money and just wanting to know which products (Maybe just mention a niche category) convert the best...

Digital vs Real products?

High or low price converts better?
1x $99 sale each day vs 3x $33 sales? Which is more likely.

Thanks a lot guys!

Not sure I understand the question. A conversion rate is a conversion rate.

If a page converts at 2% then 2 out of every 100 buys.

    What is the difference between 1 x 99 and 3 x 33? None.

But the difference between a sales page that converts at 2% and sells a $99 dollar product and a page that sells a $33 dollar product is $132.

    2 sales at $99 = $198 vs. 2 sales at $33 = $66

    $198 - $66 = $132

    Which one do you want?

  • The main thing is relevance. As I've found products that are relevant to my sites' visitors, conversion rates have gone up. Watch the search strings that bring people to your site.

Exactly, that is the key to conversion right there.

Match the offer to the prospect and you have a sale.

Back to the example of a site having a 2% conversion rate, that is an average and I can personally bring in people that will convert higher if I match the offer (sales page) to my traffic by pre selling, or warming them up with an email.

So if I find a product that is converting well and I know that my list will respond well, I would choose that over a higher priced product if I knew that my list would not respond as well to the higher priced item.

But the same is true of a lower converting sales page and a higher priced item that my list would eat up, then I send my list to the lower converting page knowing that they are going to convert well for me and buy the higher priced product.

This is why it's very important to "know your market". If you know what they want, go find it for them. Don't try forcing your traffic through a strainer and hoping to make a little.

i was trying to ask in general do lowr priced products convert at higher rates... is there a price limit to where people seem to be afraid to spent that much money?

Say a $50 product to teach you to make money online
or a $100 dollar product to teach you to make money online

If they were the same product with the same description which would convert and sell more?

I know I'd only have to convert half as many with the $100 offer but would the $50 offer end up selling for example 4x as much so It'd make more in the long run....

Dunno if im making sense.. try n bear with me lol

The truth is there are so many variables that it will be difficult for anyone to give you a definitive answer. My suggestion is that you look at it from a cost vs return basis.

Conversion is one thing but you have to focus on the cost per conversion. If you are going to spend $50 to make $40 sale then clearly you are going to be in the red.

You don't have to look beyond Clickbanks marketplace listing for top converting products. Pick one and promote; just ensure that you are always making more than you spend to make the sale.

Top tip: I do a lot of site flipping on eBay and what I've found is that the people on there are prime candidates for make money online products. I funnel traffic from listings which cost $2 tops and send them to my squeeze page. And I only promote rebill products - this way 10 sales made in August, generates the same level of income in September at no extra cost.

        hope this helps.

It goes back to the market. Look at the prices that the big "gurus" are selling at, $197, $297, and seminars in the thousands.

But if your market is people who just got laid off and you wanted to show them how to make some extra cash on the Internet then they are probably not going to be able to spend that much.

On the other hand, if you have a group of wealthy people looking for information on investing and you are offering an ebook for $19.95, they will probably pass on it because of the perceived value. They would think for that low of a price, it must not be high quality information.

I'm not trying to be difficult or sound like an a**. It really does depend on who you are trying to sell it to.

I have sold a lot of very high priced products and the same with lower and medium priced.

You can sell whichever course you want. The $50 or the $100 it's not up to you, it's up to your traffic and what they will pay for a course.

It sounds like B.S. but it is not and this is why so many people run into problems with their Internet business. It's not about product and price. It's about market.
