Best Way to Sell an Info Product??

Hi Guys,

I am in the process of creating an information product (a PDF) for a specific demographic. I know it is something the market wants (tested with a blog post and social media). My question is.. what is the best process to sell this including what components would you use. All I have now is most of the product done and a pretty good idea of how to target the market (traffic). Essentially, I want to setup a system that when done all I have to worry about is driving traffic. An affiliate component would be nice as well. Thanks. Please ask me any questions needed. I'd like to make the most profit, but am willing to spend some money to make some.

Clickbank is far to arduous on their rules for adding product to their marketplace.

I suggest that you launch your product on JV zoo, set up an affiliate program, then approach blog owners in your niche, about joining your affiliate program.

Like already suggested. Clickbank, jvzoo, warriorplus etc.. All these are great.

With the use of these, you can focus on driving traffic & you can also approve affiliates who can help you promote your product even further, so you'll make even more.

Don't just stick it on JVZoo etc. and hope for the best!

You need to create some excitement around your product and one place you can do this is in the FB JV Groups.

My advice, join these groups and see how others are creating a buzz around their upcoming product releases (sometimes 4 weeks+ in advance!).

    Good luck

I plan to do this. What's a good way? For now, I have a blog post giving a taste of the product. I will promote the blog post and capture emails. Then, email the list and promote like crazy when I launch. Thanks for the advice.

You could set it up yourself using something like Digital Access Pass, which would allow you to deliver the product, drip feed follow up emails and also get affiliates on board.

Make sure you are in the right niche if you want to promote on JvZoo. Clickback is much more diverse and I have clients who do very well on that platform.

Yeah, it's not in the IM niche.

Ok If you have a good Product and You want to Maximise Profit out of it then do A lead Magnet - Remmber the Market wants the Product but does not know if you are the best person to buy from there fore make a report around the Product that you will give away free, alternative do an educational informative webinar. there by you will build a list and the people who show up for the webinar you can sell to them a high ticket product.

Then in addition you can have downsales, and in addition you can have mebership products. You can upsell one on one Consultation.

If you use Infusion Soft and Go to webinar you can Automate and have evergreen webinars and do Behavioural marketing.

It then doesnt matter where the traffic will come from as long as you have good funnel.

    Thank You

Selling an info-product is virtually no different from selling any other kind of product (like a flat screen TV). Marketing is marketing is marketing. Be a marketer, and if you're not good at marketing, then get great at marketing.

Your goal should be targeted traffic to your site, lead generation, pitching via email, leading to sales page, and then backend marketing for more profits from each customer you get.

Clickbank is hands down the best platform for selling infoproducts. However, not all products will be accepted and they are getting stricter and stricter with the rules. If you are having difficulty getting accepted, then the next best platform would be JVZoo (almost any product is accepted there).

You can have the best product in the world, but if people don't know, like and trust you, they won't believe your claims that it's the best product in the world. Why would they?

Ask yourself this question? Have YOU ever bought anything from someone or some company that you didn't know and trust first? I doubt it.

So, IMO, you need to spend some time in the marketplace, in facebook groups, etc. to get people to know, like and trust you first. This is THE big hurdle why new marketers don't do so well. It might happen every now and then, but for real success, this KLT is key!

I would also prefer a clickbank or jvzoo plateform as they have lots of active affiliates...that will help you in generating huge amount of sales...

  • Clickbank and JVZoo are indeed just two of the best options especially if you want to launch your product and promote it through affiliates. However, this doesn't just stop there. You also need to go out and interact with potential affiliates in order to get them to sign up to your affiliate program. Easier said than done but with consistency you can do it. Social media is a good place to promote, and you might also consider promoting your affiliate program or announce to potential affiliates in forums. There are paid ad bundles offered here and in other forum choices. Goodluck!

Looks like it's going to be either CB or JVZoo. JVZoo not as strict, but seems to work better for IM niche. CB is more strict on accepting product, but has tons of different niches. Active affiliates I guess don't matter as much since I plan on recruiting a lot myself.

If you have the time, create a Free WSO in the same niche topic and have a list in place to send a link to on your very important launch day. Or just do some traditional list building with a freebie incentive from your website or social media.

Also recruit Affiliates to promote for you on day one..VERY IMPORTANT.

Momentum will create even more momentum and slow start will really feel like a let down no matter how remarkable the product/service is.

Congrats on your upcoming launch and best of luck.

The best way to sell an info product is to find the hungry market FIRST.

    Where are they?

    What do they want?

Now you know how you'll sell it to them, and what to create.

THEN you go create the product.

Most of you do this bass-ackwards.

If you want hungry eyeballs in a tune of 2.2 Billion visitors per month finding your information product you may want to, in addition to Clickbank and JVZoo, use Amazon.

You can use Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) and easily publish your book and reach millions of readers while maintaining complete control of your work. Earn royalties of up to 70%. Available for sales to customers in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, India, Japan, Brazil, and Mexico. And do all this for free!

No thanks. You can only publish stuff on their platform. Once you do, it's not allowed anywhere else. Plus, who is going to format it for kindle. How would you even target you're audience, unless it's a product with mass appeal?

      Couple of points on this...

      1. Big names don't always give you the best return (sometimes they limit promotion to subset of their list or they limit distribution to once-only promotion, their list may not totally align with your product leading to poor conversion, your promotion may get lost in other noise they send to their list, etc...) I have had smaller to medium sized lists (in and around the 10,000 subscribers size) convert better than lists of 100,000 - so go after a number of these middle-sized players

      2. One of the ways I typically captured "Big" names in the early days was to wait until they were in the middle of a promotion (launching a new product or have a campaign running when they are seeking out publicity) and offer to produce some content that will help them get attention - could be a Skype audio or video interview, Facebook Live session, producing some written content, etc... that will get their attention and create an initial relationship between you and the big name....from there you can go back and request a review of your product, perhaps a testimonial and affiliate coverage...

      3. Getting one big name helps bring in others...do ANYTHING you have to in getting the first couple of partners on, then it will get easier once others see the names they trust being on-board.

      Jeff

One of the best ways to create and sustain momentum in your niche is to create a quality monthly magazine. I know this works because my wife and I went from being nobodys, to dominating several top niches. I use magazine marketing to achieve:
    • Daily traffic to any site I need
    • Writers (often top PHD's and other experts) creating content for me free
    • Monthly paid advertisers
    • Affiliate products and services
    • J.V. opportunities almost weekly
    • Cross promotion of related niches and subniches
    • Monthly subscriptions, marketing funnel products, etc.

I suggest you give it a try as it costs us almost nothing to do this each month. If you need more information I think I can point you in the correct direction.
