Outsourcing Rant: Have You Done This Before?
I don't know how many of you guys do outsourcing. I do, so I wanted to tell you about a deadly trap that many newbie marketers fall into. This trap will lose you a ton of cash if you don't avoid them, so read up

A while back, when I first started with Internet Marketing, I got really excited about outsourcing, so I went to various places and started hiring people. Great stuff. I got really awesome people working with me. The problem was that...
I forgot to profit from their work

So I was spending money, without making money. Great business model, huh?
I guess the lesson from this is that whatever you outsource, make sure you have a profit stream set up so that your freelancer's work makes you money.
For instance: Don't just get a logo created and forget about it or abandon the project because you didn't think some things through. Plan everything carefully so that you make money off of that logo.
(an example of a bad scenario would be this: you want to get some software created and sell it, so you hire a programmer and of course you need a designer for the salespage or whatever. You paid the designer his cash because he finished the project, but you didn't think about the fact that the software would take 2 months to create, so now, you're stuck with that design for two months and can do nothing with it.
a good scenario: create the software first and while you're in the testing process (about 2 weeks), get a designer. Ask them to create the salespage as well as some things for the software (icons and such. Remember that the more work you give them, the cheaper the prices)
You know what I am saying?
