First Time being on Warrior

Good Evening,

So I read some etiquette rule for forums before I came on here and one rule said "before you post any questions, search around, chances are that if the site is a couple of years old or more, your question has been answered already."

With that being said, I did search around for what i was looking for and found a little bit of it, but I have noticed a lot of the posts have "ad like" titles and scrolling through all these made it a little difficult to find good content.

So my question is... Is there a way to filter out some of those "ad like" posts and really narrow my search down to just a few pages worth of posts? if yes, how do I go about doing that?

I look forward to collecting some great content, I read a lot of good things about this website!

    Good to see that you will go a long way on the forum , my suggestion would be in the search is to go advance put in the keyword then look for the sub forum on the right and highlight it and see what happens if not start a new thread.

    I saw the DVD movie Deadpool recently and his favorite hangout was a bar full of contract mercenaries/assassins. For fun he starts a bar fight on one occasion and its just part of the life.

    This forum gets alot of link juice from Google and the title of a thread can literally gain a ton of traffic from the title alone so this is the bar full of marketers.

    I think the best way to navigate is to do an advanced search using "keyword" and starting with "in title".

    Shouldn't take too long to find a few members here who clearly know what they are talking about and/or are in the field/area you are interested in....then do an advanced search by "name" looking for threads they've started or posted in.

    Good way to start but if you have a specific question, don't be afraid to ask it. Just give as many details/facts as you can to get good answers/advice.

    Hi Steven
    It's refreshing to see a new member who is able to use more than 1% of their brain... The fact that you took the time to read the rules and make use of the search function probably puts you ahead of 90% of the simpletons who join daily..

    There is not a way to "Filter Out Ad like posts" as far as i know, and trust me the forums are full of them...
    Like Kay said you will soon be able to sort the wheat from the chaff, and soon you will spot the BS a mile off...
    A healthy BS Radar is also a good thing to have...

    Welcome to the site! Just like any site that gets thousands and thousands of daily visitors your going to have those in the crowd that shouldn't really be here. Stick around and you will learn and discover a lot of good things. Just don't focus on the complaining a lot of people do. The forum is not to complain to but find answers to your questions.
