Social Proof / Reviews / Testimonials

Hi Everyone,

I am in the final phases of creating my first digital product. Its about driving traffic, specifically Facebook.

I need social proof- I searched the forum and could not find an answer to how to get it....I could have sworn I read something here before on that topic before the site overhaul.

In any event, does anyone know any strategies to get social proof- I am not looking for BS- this is a real product and looking for real proof.

    The best strategy I can think of is to get your product out there so folks can try it and give you feedback. There are many ways to do this including giving away free copies in exchange for an objective review. There are lots of sites that accept "giveaways" and make them available for download.

    Another idea is to contact bloggers or authority sites in your niche and ask them to offer your product to their subscribers.

    Or put your book in the War Room and just give it away with the intent of gaining reviews or testimonials.

    The sky is the limit.

    The easiest and most direct way is to sell it, then get feedback from your customers. Ask them if they can give you the testimonial either with a photo and text, or a video testimonial.

    You can get Warriors to help you with reviews.

    There is a section of the Warrior Forum called Wanted - Members Looking To Hire You

    You can post a thread there looking for people to review your product on social media.

    I've done one such post before launching my first WSO and have received some honest reviews. I did offer my WSO for free though.

    Beware though, there are also many freebie seekers that will ask for review copies and you'll never hear from them again.

    Even better than reviews are actual case studies, with real people and real numbers.

    Much more convincing than "I just got this product. It's great. I know it works, even though I've only had it for ten minutes and haven't opened it yet. -- Mom"

    Honestly the best thing to do is get it out in front of people. If you see it catching on, facebook ads it up!
