We are all entrepreneurs here or striving to be.

I like to go to Business Insider from time to time. Because if you are looking for them you can find gold nuggets anywhere..

Not for the fluff stories like this one...

Once you go to one story you can find many more. Then just search for those tiny tweaks they made that really made the difference.

Like the guy in the link above he had a physical studio but once he began creating videos and DVDs as courses he exploded in profits.

We all know people that may be successful to some degree but what if we suggested just a little tweak in their business that they may not have considered? Then who knows.

I let the entrepreneur in me go for a walk daily because you just never know when you can hit "the big one"
(I love to open myself up for the slammers)

Yea we have a lot of "reality checks" all day every day here at the forum from people that feel a need to remind everyone only a small portion succeed but that is not how I program my brain.

Opportunities are out there waiting for us to take action on them.

Turn things sideways or upside down in your mind and see it from another angle.

Could change everything.

OK just a thought hope this sparks an idea for someone.

    This from the story:

    So, my takeaway from this, is to think in terms HOW to service a cult, or a group, or niche (if cult offends) of a market...and

    collect RECURRING income.

    Thanks for the link and idea, I would simply add that during this type of exercise look for IDEAS which can be duplicated.

    Good idea here.

    I like reading inspired stuff because it reminds me to follow my passion. Those 230 g's a month rock but I betcha the experience of earning them trumped numbers on a screen. And in truth, if 230 G's is your driver it's hella tough to get there; almost impossible to give massive value and reach out if your hands are locked onto some outcome.

    My creative ideas are rooted in expressing myself in some area I dig - blogging, travel, etc - then linking with folks who dig it too. They buy in. Share. Spread the word. Our tribe grows. All because I did what I enjoyed doing, and connected with folks who appreciated my passion.

    It's true that only a small portion succeed, but you're taking steps to become one of them.

    The people who tend not to succeed are the ones asking for an idea, exact step by step instructions, where to follow those instructions, who to sell to and how to do so instantly without investing any work or energy.

    Short version, they want to be a player without having to actually learn how to play.

    Like Gordon said, look for the idea, not just the small tweaks. In Fagella's case, he didn't just "tweak" his business, he changed the entire format and delivery system.

      Fagella had several role models, first Billy Blanks, a one studio guy in Boston, to another one in LA, to VIDEO, and direct response ads. TAEBO, pretty much was the "template" Fagella followed.

      And Blanks? He took a page from Jack LaLanne, a studio, to expansion, duplication, and mail order products which he
      "duplicated" (tweaked)
      from Charles Atlas and health aficionado Paul Bragg.

      You'll see very little new is CREATIVE, even Charles Atlas had videos in the 20s.

      Sometimes, a good way to find the new thing for tomorrow, is to look at what has worked in the past.

      PS And Charles Atlas borrowed a lot from Eugen Sandow and Bernarr McFadden who PUBLISHED and was a writer, in other words, sold INFORMATION PRODUCTS as early as 1899.

      I'm going to guess, men and their bodies, health and bodybuilding and martial arts will continue to be a good niche for decades to come. Just tweak away.

      I've brought this up before, but many years ago I sold an SEO product that used a third party affiliate program which was two tier. I could see the results of the people that signed up under me.


      Almost to a tee, the people that did the best were the ones that asked very few questions, and when they did, they were questions that couldn't be found in the search engines.


      On the other hand, those that didn't make much money were the folks that asked the most questions and the vast majority of those questions could have easily been answered with a quick search. And had they searched, they would have found an answer immediately instead of waiting for my response.


      The great thing about computers is that it's easy to experiment. The greatest invention ever may well be "undo". Another great feature of computers is the ability to make exact copies, so if you do mess something up, just delete it and start with a new copy.

        Yep, and you can usually spot them from a mile away. There is this look on their face and a tone in their voice that they are not sure this is going to work and they want you to prove to them that it works and show them that it can work.
        It's weird and extremely uncomfortable being around these people. It's like you have to prove everything to them while holding their hand.
        And they actually think you are obligated to this for them

    So awesome. You guys understood exactly what I was sharing and why.

    @ John. Oh my goodness those people you mentioned. They are some of our best customers and the exact thing I try to share with them is content like this post. Seeing the opportunities around us that others do not see.

    Our fellow warrior that observed the hot trend of Adult Coloring books for example, he did not invent it or come up with the idea. He made an observation, created a Resource/WSO that would be helpful to others interested in that niche and reaped the rewards.

    Hi Art, this is definitely an inspiring story. Thanks for sharing. It just shows that sometimes the golden nuggets are in front of our eyes, and we do not see them (I mean our own ideas and skills). Maybe we need to try to think out of the box to discover those to become the next online entrepreneurial success story. Christina
