JV Launch Calendars - Getting Affiliates

Hey folks, I'm planning on launching a product through JVZoo's platform.

I'm already familiar with the more common JV launching pads like
Muncheye, WarriorJV, and JVNotifyPro, and JVLaunch Calender.

Are there any other JV calendars that anyone here recommend to get affiliates?

Also, is there a place on the Warrior Forum to post up a JVZoo product to get affiliates? As far as I'm concern, the Warrior Forum is mostly for WSO.

I'm aware of the Facebook groups too although, if you just join the groups, it would be awkward to post up your announcements so soon on FB. They might see it as spamming.

Thanks folks, for any good advice.

As far as launch calenders, you pretty much covered them all.

Go to facebook and search the term "jv". Join all those groups. Wait a week and then post your launch. Then every few days to a week, update your post.

Befriend Internet marketers on facebook and join whatever groups they're in.

The best way but also the most work, is to use both the launch calenders and facebook to find every internet marketer who has launched or is launching a product and befriend them on facebook. Then Contact them directly and give them all the info about your launch. Jv page, sales page, and contest or prizes if any. Don't expect a reply as most won't. You'll just see their name show up on your affiliates list.

Thanks for the reply.. how do you go about "befriending" them?

I know you already said "Then Contact them directly and give them all the info about your launch. Jv page, sales page, and contest or prizes if any." but this might seem as spamming too. I don't want to get kicked off the group for annoying there.. especially when I just join the group.

It's as easy as making a friend request.

It's not something to worry about as long as you're not an asshat about it. Just spend a little time everyday making internet marketing friends.

When you have a launch coming up just send them the info about 3 weeks in advance.

Like I said, you probably won't get a reply but it works.

Since I just finished a launch on Jvzoo I can tell you what will happen.

If you don't have any affiliate relationships, DON'T DO IT!!
Jvzoo seems to be where the big boys come to play and if they don't know you they won't play with you unless you have the blessing of a named internet marketer.

What will happen is, you'll get many affiliate requests. Many will be from people who are brand new to jvzoo and most of them will be scammers or just useless so unless they're a name you can google or recognize from this forum, deny them. Especially if they have less than like 25 sales and refund rates above about 8%. If they do send you traffic it will be garbage that drives up your EPC.

You may get some requests from people who have lots of sales in jvzoo. Anybody with over 5000 sales will be automatically approved. DON'T CELEBRATE. They are a fickle bunch and will likely be MIA come launch time. Even if you email them with updates, most of those emails will not get opened.

Here's what I suggest. Launch products here if you haven't already. Make sure you promote those launches and keep adding friends on facebook so everyone there sees you making things happen here. Once you've got a list of say........500 members, and a good reputation among warriors, then go for the big fish at jvzoo.

I did it the other way around because I had the backing of at least 2 big named internet marketers with sizable lists. Even with that in my favor, I launched a great series of products that sold 45 copies.

          Thanks jdudley, this was helpful.

Question: JVZoo has delayed commissions for up to 90 days. Now I read in another post here on the forum about some affiliate scammers who use stolen credit cards to make purchases themselves, or sent the wrong kind of traffic your way. I don't mind waiting up to 90 days to pay a commission. Would you happen to know if the credit card issuer can still request a charge back after 90 days?

You also provided a good benchmark for approving affiliates:

          1. Affiliates must have a track record of sales at least 25 sales
          2. Their Refund rates should be under 8%

I read in another post where the poster also recommend to

          1. Avoid affiliates from certain countries (I would like to know which countries though, anyone?)
          2. Avoid affiliates that just recently signed up

          These were his red flags.

    OT here

mind to ask JVzoo got limit the sales?

you cannot just put 250 dollars for one product?

let say you want to earn 250 from your product , you must split the sales into OTO?

Anyone has a list of FB groups where I can just simply post up my announcement for my launch and provide a link to my JV page to get the affiliate links, etc.? (without doing all the befriending thing, which I don't mind either but that takes time)
