Making the browser show an exit message -- how?

I see some Clickbank pages have a popup where the browser itself gives an exit message. How is this done? Is there a wordpress plugin for this action?

#browser #exit #message

You have to insert a small javascript code on your webpage. Check this page here.

    Hello Delta223,

You can add a javascript code like exitsplash on your wordpress site or installed a plugin similar that one PopupAlly or Yeloni Exit Popup.

    Hey Delta,

Looks like everyone here pretty much covered it but I've been using CatchaMonkey for creating the same type of exit confirmations that you're seeing. I've noticed over the last 6 months that they've lost their effectiveness in my tests but they still do create a little bit of an uptick in conversions.

I like CatchaMonkey because it's relatively simple and they host the code for you. Just pop in your message, exit url, and click generate

You do have to add javascript, but doesn't that style remind you of a virus pop-up? I'd recommend using a tool like https://sumome.com/ for that instead. Looks way better.

There's an option when you install sumome to create an exit intent pop-up that comes with built in styles. It's called "List Builder" tho

Please dont do that. I always want to find that person who did this pop up and punch him in a face.

There are many. OptimizePress has a built-in exit pop creator.
