SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE

I've been sitting in front of my PC now for, what feels like hours, trying to think of some super duper stuff I can share with you that has never been on the net...

But you know what...I don't think that there are many of those things running around on the net. We do what we must do. That's right, we do what WORKS!

Depending on your niche or whatever you fancy at this stage, there are so many things a person can do to generate an income on the internet.

Now, I was thinking, YOU surely must have something of value to share. Something that actually worked for you and brought some cash into your account and you are looking to boast (or whatever :-) ) about it.

Now is your opportunity to tell everybody about this phenomenal success of yours! (Even if it is not so phenomenal). We sincerely want to know about it on this forum.

Sounds like fun? Ok, let's give it a go and let everybody hear about that.

    Build a list early on.

Back in the day when I started working for Rob, one of my first projects was to build my own list inside the IM niche. I used mainly free traffic and the list grew painfully slow, but steadily. Even so, it is to this day a small list (200+). I had a follow-up in place and the list was being taken care of in that regard but I didn't actually continue to harvest it on a regular basis and once the follow-ups were over, they didn't hear from me.

Recently, with the launch of my first WSO, I have decided to send a broadcast and see how it goes and while I only had single digit opens, I had 2 clicks that turned into 2 sales.

If I would have actually been a good girl and take care of that list, I might have a different story to tell today but in my experience everyone should do this: build a list and cherish that list.

If you do it right, they won't disappoint (even if you do disappoint them by forgetting about them )

This lesson also translated into the successful Facebook experiment that I did not long ago: 1059 subscribers, $42 spent and a cool trick in which I by-passed Facebook's hate for "monetization" links.

The lesson's always: build the list!

Yep, and this is why I think that straight Follow Ups can sometimes be a mistake. Sending out occasional ( but consistent) Brdcsts can really be beneficial for you and your List.

It keeps you more relevant , timely , and up on current issues.

Remember in Email Marketing you should treat it like your OWN radio Show. You get to decide what you want to write about and when you want to write it.

Heck, sometimes I will mix it up and throw in a brdcst on the Political Arena. Just talked about Trump recently in one. The point being to keep your List engaged and sometimes that means thinking outside the box.

      So do those Bdrcsts

When I started affiliating a digital product, I didn't think about list building. I was not knowing anything about it and just decided to do it with youtube video. So, I created a simple video and put my affiliate url on the video and of course in the description as well. That one simple video I've created about 4 years ago... is now still making money for me. But since I didn't build a list, I couldn't make connection from my video to anyone for further possibilities. And... I really don't care with list building until today. Because that video still makes profit. So, I still don't think list building is necessary for me, even I know that it can help me more to make more sales. Well... maybe someday I'll start to make my list if aweber or getresponse can accept my paypal payment.
