He jumped over the wall!

I recently purchased a .ly domain. It's a pretty domain hack I must say.

I purchased it and contacted one of the top domain sellers on Flippa, asking him of his opinion on the possible value of the domain. He agreed that it's a pretty domain hack, and he asks me if i intend to sell it or keep it.

That was like 2 weeks ago. Lets forward to yesterday and today.

Yesterday, I contacted the domain registrar demanding an explanation as to why MY domain is taking longer than the 2 days to register. I was informed that its actually a pendingdelete domain scheduled to be MINE as of today.

Fair enough but outright ridiculous. I mean why by the beard of zeus they didnt indicate its a pendingdelete domain on their website in the first place.

So today, an email came in stating that they refunded me my payment for that domain. OK, I get it. Sometimes you win sometimes you dont. But what surprises me is that the domain is now being registered to the person that I have the balls to humbly trust him to ask for his opinion, although i must say i dont actually need it.

When I scoffingly contacted him not demanding an explanation, he replied that one of his website users purchased it and its my fault for letting it to expire.

First of all, it isnt my fault that i was not informed that its a pendingdelete domain, is it? And second of all, its a bitter truth that some people are simply not burdened with the dignity to enter through the front door, isnt it?

His excuse is banal and insulting. Because last time i checked, there are no transactions on his website indicating his user purchased a backorder or purchasing the domain itself, rather the domain now is registered under his name. Kudos to him! Im impressed!

P.S Hey guys, sorry if you have to hear me rant but to cheer you up, you can register for scoffing.ly domain and most probably get a decent profit out of it if you flip it on flippa. I checked and scoffing.ly is currently available and not registered but you have to check if its a pendingdelete domain. Cheers!
