Hey folks,

I'm considering launching a WSO soon and I just want to know how to drive traffic to it.

Is it all organic and it's just "luck of the draw" or is there a method(s) of driving traffic?
What keeps a wso from getting swallowed by a hundred other wsos?

Thanks for your input guys.

  • Your best bet might be to use SOLO ADS

I know it's a bit pricey but if you're serious about targeted traffic, solo ads are the way to go

With that said, you need to find the right vendors or else it will be too easy for you to lose your shirt.
  • Best response I ever got was free wsos. That was in the old days and freebies aren't allowed anymore. Your best bet is to partner with a well known warrior (i.e. do a j.v.). You do the work of creating the product and they get the traffic by their list(s). You can look in the JV section of the forum. You might have to pay them a set fee or you could be able to strike a profit sharing plan.

After you do that one, you should have a good list of buyers to launch the next one. Once you start getting some sales and building a rep, you can attract affiliates to get more traffic.

You've basically got to see the first one as an experiment. You may lose money, but if you get some buyers, it's worth it. You have to look at it as a process, and it will probably take about 5 or so to get good traction.

    Good luck with it!

Mfarg and Writeaway both make excellent suggestions.

I know alot of people are in a position where they really need an income stream up quickly as possible but if you could build a warm list first it really makes a huge difference.

You get them excited as your launch date approaches and you give them incentive to be there on the first day like early bird discount and that momentum only increases from there.

Have your review copy people on gentle reminders to visit the thread on day one that is also very important.

The last thing you should do is count on marketplace cold traffic visitors and bumps...just consider that gravy instead not the meat.

Join groups for JVs, affiliates, and exposure but most of all for long term relationships from people you can help and they can help you as well.

Approach people with intentions on how you can boost their business and help their followers/subscribers remember we all get pitched to every single day.

One last addition...the actual launch day matters.

Do not go up against the hottest launch of the year (check the launch boards )and not at beginning of weekend and some will say not on Monday either...but I am sure someone hit a grand slam out the park on any given day of the week. Just increase your odds of success if you can.

    Hope you do fantastic.
  • WarriorForum is actually very keen on sending traffic to your WSO...and it usually is very targeted traffic.

You can bump the thread so that it goes on the first page where all the other marketers are also bumping their threads.
    Cost: $20/a bump

You can do a sticky thread (meaning it will stay at the top of first page for 12 hours then it jumps back)
    Cost: $100/12 hours

You can do WF Banners. You can do top or bottom banners. Once you pay and have it all set up, your banner will go on a rotator with others marketers banners so roughly 1/5 of the page views on WF in that time frame will show your banner.
    Cost: $100/day

And you can also add a banner* link to your signature to your WSO. The more you're active on the forum, the better.
    Cost: $60/year

    • Pretty sure you can link to your WSO without paying the 60 bucks

  • I'd join every FaceBook group related to JVs and Affiliate Marketing...

Solo Ads are great for getting "clicks." Since I honestly question if they are real, living breathing prospects, I wouldn't count on many sales.

    • Isn't FB cracking down on group marketing?

Also, since there are so many bots pumping groups with ads, how are conversion rates looking?
