Newbie trying to start out in affiliate marketing

Hello, I am new to the warrior forum and new to marketing in general. I am just starting out and I am trying to find out if anyone has anything to recommend as far as learning how to be successful as an affiliate marketer. There are so many of these systems and programs out there that claim you can follow there system to earn income but I really dont know what to trust. I am considering purchasing Brian Wynn's Secure Income system but I do not know if I should. Supposably everything is shown step by step through video and I am thinking that might be the best way to learn. If anyone knows anything about this program or has any other suggestions please give me some feedback. I would really appreciate it. Thanks

    Hi!

If you search here..There are so many post that gives instructions on how to start. The easiest way for you to find such thread is to arrange the ordering of threads to the most viewed or most replied. There you will find working methods given by fellow warriors.

And..here is some rehashed info that might help you.

    1. Sign-up to clickbank
    2. Select a product you want to promote
    3. Create a free blogger blog, promote the product there.
    4. Select keywords related to the product you want to promote (about 10 would be enough)
    5. Write articles based on those keywords. about 90 articles would be enough. If you don't know where to get ideas for articles simply visit project gutenberg and look for books related to your topic. Also checkout wikipedia and other free article directories. Make the articles informative and have a call to action at the end of the article.
    6. Submit half of the 90 articles to EZA, link it back to your blog
    7. Use the other half as content for your blog
    8. Your blog articles should properly pre-sell
    9. Add an opt-int box
    10. Wait for sale.

    All Success!

I've purchased Chris Rempel's stuff and it's very good, imho. You can sample his advice by reading his blog first.

I'm new to all this myself and if I could give one bit of advise it would be to do your research first! The good news is that your in the best place for that! If you can't get the info here on warrior then you won't get it anywhere.

  • There are probably some good paid systems / info products out there on affiliate marketing. I can't speak specifically about the one you mention. If you are going to buy, make sure you get a range of reviews to be certain.

I've been a buyer of stuff before and after so many purchases I decided to follow a slightly different route.

I'm sure I'll still buy such products but I decided I would only buy new products when I had generated I could afford them by generating money from other sources. So I decided I wold try and make money only from the information I could find from this forum or from other free sources.

An earlier poster has pointed to Casey Gentles' report. I've got it and having applied what is in it I've made some money in the last 48 hours. Its not rocket science however. IN fact much of it can be found on here also by using the search function. Casey has put it together in one book.

What I'm trying to say here is that don't write something off just because its free. You can learn just as much sometimes as when you're paying for something.

I also think when you're starting outLong term however you will probably benefit by getting your feet through doing some of your own research. By doing so I've often learned some nuances that products often leave out. Why is it important? A couple of reasons really. Often as beginner (and I'm still beginning) its easy to think that a product is gospel and must be followed to the letter. What is sometimes required is techniques might need a tweak here or there to make them work for you. If you've got the skills from researching on here then you can pick up that nuance because there is more than one way to skin this cat.

I think the key piece of advice however that often gets overlooked whether you learn it from a book or from searching the forum is this. If you basically got a product that sells and has low competition for a buying long tail keyword that you can dominate - stick with it. Jumping from one thing to another without doing the proper work and giving it enough chance can hinder your success.

    Good luck

The only thing with which I would disagree is this:

      10. Wait for sale.

Never ever 'wait'. ALWAYS be proactive. Once you've laid all the groundwork...get the word out there via your blog, your social networking, your forum posts and the like.

Ban complacency from your life - it's a good thing to do.
