Are you aware of the value of what you are learning?

Dear Warriors,

I am a newbie (although a fast learner) and I have realized something I think that is very important.

Did you realize that in every second you spend in IM, you are learning "the art of selling" and how to approach the customer from a perspective that will make him buy a product?

Every time you design a presell/sales page, every time you write an article and design a resource box; and then analyze the results after some time, you are learning to SELL.

It is like being the head of the advertising section of a firm. You are not a small player that only does small things for the firm that doesn't really affect its standing. You are the HEAD of everything. You do things, you analyze their results, you change things and learn how to make someone buy something.

Now, maybe you are a very successful marketer making thousands per day, or maybe you are someone who is yet to make a cent in IM. In my opinion, this doesn't matter.

I don't know if I'm the only person to think this way, but to me; it all seems TREMENDOUSLY valuable experience which you couldn't be taught at Harvard.

That is the reason in my first 2.5 months of IM during when I didn't make a cent; I didn't feel like I wasn't wasting my time for nothing. Yes, making no money didn't feel good at all but I knew that I was accumulating great experience.

Thanks for listening!

Well, are you making money now?

It's all fine to have a starting and learning curve but someday you'll have to start making money or all the things you've learned don't matter at all.
