I have acquired the domain name f.uk and its showing in my GoDaddy account but its still showing as available. I talked to GoDaddy and they told that this domain is registered with your account. I have no idea Whats going on?
Is it possible to sell this domain name?

I'm pretty sure he needs to talk with Nominet - The Official Registry for UK Domain Names and I don't think he's going to like what they have to say.

Somethings tells me that this person is not going to be a happy Godaddy customer after this.

      Could be wrong.

But I'm pretty sure it's on the reserved list.

Because .uk has only recently become available, there's a grace period that holds any .uk version of a .co.uk domain is reserved until 2019 for the current .co.uk holder.
They're not, it's an issue with Godaddy.

Actually one letter UK domains are available - I checked on the Nominet site and f.co.uk is owned by a Cayman Islands company.

They'll have first refusal on f.uk until 2019.

Nominet changed the rules a few years ago and auctioned off the one and two letter domains for an average of £39,000 (about $55,000 at current exhchange rates) - I'm glad they're a not-for-profit otherwise who knows how much they would have raised

I figured that out after my response, but the OP wasn't one of those people and nobody is going to let a 1 letter domain drop, ever... Even if they did, records would show that.. So yeah, there's definitely some kind of problem with Godaddy

Maybe you should wait 24 hours to see if it went through OK.

Best thing to do is to ask Godaddy.

Have you pointed the domain to a NameServer, yet?

You'd be in good money if you actually owned this.

    Easily worth at least $50,000!

    Wish you the best man!

You're probably going to lose it, there's some rules with the .uk domains that I doubt you're following.

I think it's just a matter of waiting for the whois system to be updated. Happened to me once. The update should usually happen within 24 to 48 hours after purchase.
