Success With Warrior Classifieds

by Phil Jacobson 5 replies
Just wanted to ask if anyone has had success with the classified section of the Warrior Classified section.

What has worked for you?

I don't have my own product yet so I am focusing on learning the basics of website building, very basic seo, traffic and other basic marketing techniques to promote an affiliate product.

The program I promote pays a $78 commission per product so I was thinking that I could offer a discount in the form of cash back thru paypal.

Just wondering if this is the done thing. Has anyone offered to share some of their commission if they buy a product you promote as an affiliate?

Also, can affiliate products be tied into a WSO? Eg: buy this product and I will throw in these products that I have, for free.

Just wondering.

Thanks.

    Hi Phil,

I think it would depend on the individual affiliate owner to determine whether or not this would be allowed. Personally, I think I would stay away from doing something like this.

Instead, you could offer a free gift that will enhance the value of what you're offering. For the particular product that you want to promote, I would include a free report on how to write an effective solo ad, or something along those lines. If you really wanted to go overboard, you could hire someone to write solo ads for everyone that purchased the lifetime package - to get them jump started (and actually using the product). That would be a pretty ideal promotion if you do want to really go all out.

However, if you go too far with the tie-ins, cash back, etc... I think it could cheapen what you're offering - kind of a "geez how bad is this" reaction that could be formed in the mind of a buyer.

    Just my 2 cents

Great post. I mean, I totally agree with that. It made perfect sense. I think I would be cheapening the offer if I did that. Will rethink it.

      Many thanks.

    Phil,

Many affiliate managers and product owners will not allow cash incentives.

Plus you'd need to be very careful about handling refunds. If you pay cash to the customer and they then claim a refund.. you're out of pocket!

You can only promote products as a WSO that you created yourself (or somebody you've hired to create your product). You are not even allowed to sell plr products, so I don't think it would work.
