Only promote new affiliate products?

Hey everyone! Thanks for checking out my thread.

When deciding which affiliate products to promote to your list, do you only promote recently launched products, such as the new ones on WarriorPlus? Or do you also promote older products from WarriorPlus, JVZoo, and Clickbank?

Thanks for your time!

If you have talent to sale product online then its not making any sense that product are old or new, you can sell any product without any problem.

It all depends on your audience. If you have an optin list and your subscribers belong to alot of other email list, then there may be a chance that your subscribers would have seen some of the older offers on Warrior Plus and JV zoo and maybe have already purchased them.

That being said...I try to promote new products to my list, but I occasionally promote old products that I have found useful and that I think would help my list.

    It depends on the product.

If you are promoting hosting, for example; it never goes out of style.

I would go with the one that has the lowest refund rate. You have to do some homework on the affiliate products you promote. Plus, older affiliate products can be a good thing to promote still today - and mostly in the future. For example like Brent said: Web Hosting, Autoresponders, heck... even porn - depending on what you sell. (But honestly.... alot of the porn made today sucks.)

  • You can promote both. If you know your market like what they want particularly, then it would not be hard to choose the products to promote. There are ways to determine which product to choose from, depending on the available information. You may use these data when choosing which products are best to promote to your market. Like for example in Clickbank, you are supplied with gravity score, which shows you the number of affiliates who sold the product in the span of 12 weeks. You can use this information when deciding on a product to promote. Of course, this is just one factor there are a lot more ways in choosing the right product.

Depends on the one where you have the potential to acquire more sales. Make sure to do some research on the conversion of the product then go for it. Goodluck.

i just go off 'gravity'... if other sellers are making money off the product then that atleast means it is an in demand product, yes it has competition but thats not always a bad thing.
