How Great Are the New/Trendy High-PR "Profile" Angela/Paul-esque Links?

I have a large list of Angela/Paul style links where you go into a high PR website, register, and slap up a back-link to your website.

I dont mean to be a negative nancy, but how reliable are these links?

Are these high PR sites catching onto the thousands of people slappign up links to their sites?

Hopefully not, but likely so.

What percentage of these links get deleted?

Is it quite likely google will change their algo and omit these style of links?

Give me some positive news. I hope my time is worth it by setting these up.

This topic has been discussed a lot on this forum.

The following link should give you all the answers you are looking for:
    Google

(I'm not trying to be a smart a$$, the search terms are built into the "Google" link...click it and you will see )

I was told they are over saturated and this type of linking strategy only works in the short term.

Keep in mind people were saying this same, exact thing about Social Bookmarking links two years ago and look how strong they still are. People say a LOT of things; these same links have gotten and kept me in the top two out of millions and millions of competing sites for more than one keyword.

Hello Angela! What is the lifespan so far of the links? Because I also heard that these sites are getting so many people linking up that they are now catching onto it.

Hello Angela, From what I've been reading, I'm going to try your package! Even if only 30% to 45% of the links stick, it's worth it! IMO

Well, I've had my program going for an entire year now, and although a few sites will change (some of the sites on my "Master List" that I haven't given out yet have changed too), quite a few of the sites remain good and can be used for a long, long time.

In actuality, as we all know, the Internet is constantly evolving. Algorithms change, scoring systems change, Matt Cutts is of course a virtual conundrum. having said that, there is no stone cold guarantee that I know of. We keep building our online properties and make adjustments as the Google gods and the other little search engines make changes. A back linking strategy that works today very well may not work tomorrow. It's no harm no foul, we just move on!

If you're asking 'should I promote my sites with profile backlinks', the answer is 'Yes!'

If you're asking 'Is there anything more effective than profile backlinks', then it kind of depends on who you ask

I'm not trying to be a smartass. What I am trying to say is that doing something is always better than doing nothing.
