Looking for ideas to monitize a specific niche

Over the past few years I have been setting up and blogging about reality television shows. I have multiple niche blogs for specific TV shows.

I am currenly monitizing them via Google Adsense and Kontera ads!

My main site currently has the following....

3000 emails in my opt in list that they get an email daily per blog post.
6200 twitter followers - active and personal tweets
5600 visits a day average this month

200 plus comments per post currently

So...as you see....I have traffic in this niche. But with my Google ads paying only about 10 bucks a day...I would love to pick all of your brains to see what I could to do try and monitize this niche a little better.

I appreciate your thoughts and help.

    This is why you should always do market research before investing time and money into projects. If you can't monitize it, don't bother.

    The only thing that springs to mind if amazon links to reality tv dvds although i though i'm not sure of they actually make dvds for this niche. You could maybe just try general amazon ads for tv/dvd related products.

    In terms of adsense, have you played around with different colours/locations/fonts for the ads. It can make the WORLD of difference.

    Have you tried zip submits?

    Something like "Do you think BLA is going to WHATEVER" ... Vote YES or NO ... and get a chance to win a free WHATEVER THE OFFER IS ABOUT.

    You would basically build customized landers for each show using whatever is currently talked about.

    You can use it on your blogs and in emails too.

    Try to come up with a product or service that appeals to those 3,000 folks on your e-mail list - if you come up with something good - a nice % of those subscribers would respond.

    Maybe you can come up with an e-book on how they can come up with their own reality tv shows and how to pitch a show to a network...most people like the idea of being on tv - so selling a book to these folks may be a good idea...now monetizing adsense it goes back to what has already been said -some markets are just not profitable....but you can use the mcdonalds idea....get 1% of the market and multiply it 400 times. so you'll mae 400 times the income.....:-)

    Hey man,

    They are people and they buy stuff. Just think about what they buy. Whats the demographic? 20's, 30's, men, women?

    THink about ads you could run that those PEOPLE would be interested in. Dont worry about the niche so much. Go to CJ and look at what you can sell there... Anything from treadmills to candy.

    If its mostly a female demographic then sign up for neverblue or azoogleads and send them cpa offers for free makeup trials...

    I would suggest to just pick general interest CPA offers: Weight loss, teeth whitening, etc...

    You should also look into some Clickbank products especially in the dating or how to spice up relationship niches.

    Also, you could sign up at cafe press and make T-Shirts related to the shows and sell them. Be careful with this, because you can't actually use the show name on the shirt. However you can use controversial/funny quotes that the cast said on the show and print them on the shirts. You can put things such as I (heart symbol) a cast member's name. Stuff like that.

    Along with CPA you could actually sign up to some dating sites and advertise them on the sites too.

    As someone else mentioned, you could also become an Amazon affiliate and promote previous season's DVD's.

    These should make you more money then Adsense.
