Hi all those courses you see and ebook covers...is there somewhere like a template site or something that lets you make one for free?

The best place I know of is Canva.com. It's an intuitive online app that allows for fast creation of images. There's also a ton of templates there too.

It's free for the most part but there are paid extras if you want to spice things up on your cover. Canva is also great for creating infographics, social media covers, and advertisements.

You'll get what you pay for. I would head over to fiver.com. You can get a good cover for $5. It's worth it.

Well, if you are good at it, that ecover creator is really fast. I´m considering buying it. Who knows if one day design covers for someone haha, 27$ is a bit pricy, but I created a nice cover in 5 minutes... Often the most time consming thing is to wait for the graphic creator...

I second this. There are great designers on Fiverr. You can't go wrong with the right one. Plus.... it's only $5 bucks.
