Thanks for the intensive list as well!

Thats some list... very long.

Most people find plugins as they need them. And the easiest way is to check on the WordPress site then if not ... use a search engine.

One problem you'll encounter is some plugins don't actually do what they should or cause problems with other parts of the code. Another problem is plugins that you build around, get used to, the the developer goes AWOL.

But all in all plugins are pretty great way to help you build and customize your site.

I'm not going to crank out a list here but I will say one really nice plug in I began using a couple of months ago is called "Admin Per Page". And if you have sites that get a lot of comments it's great. It allows you to remove the 20 posts/comments/ or whatever limits on the backend. Great for zipping though and deleting the things you don't want.

Trying WP plugins really can really get addictive. Plugins I recommend:
