Have you used iBusinessPromoter AND WebCEO Software?

Hi Warriors - if you have used both of these pieces of software, I'd really like to hear which one you like better and why.

UPDATE: if you've used either, I"d still appreciate hearing your experiences.

Thanks!

David

I haven't used WebCEO so I don't exactly fit your criteria, but I did try out IPB. Truth is, it is way overpriced for what it does. Sure, it has a lot of features but their are other tools that come close. The only thing it has that stood out for me was the reporting feature. But, this would really only be if you needed this for consulting and giving out reports to clients because you can brand them

I don't know, maybe it got better since about a year ago. But, I paid like $650 for it and don't think it was even worth close to that much for my purposes.

Hey Michael, your experience is really helpful to me, thanks for your post! - by chance, did you happen to look over the features of WebCEO before you made your decision to get IBP?

Yeah, I actually compared the two and went with IBP. Like I said, this was about a year ago so the software could have changed a bit since then. I went with IBP because of the reporting feature and to use on my own sites. I was planning on doing some offline consulting. But, I didn't end up perusing that too much. For straight-up internet marketing now I just use Market Samurai and love it.

I don't know if you plan to use this for consulting purposes. But, if you are the reporting feature is really nice. You can brand it and it gives you all kinds of information for you customers.

Hey Michael - thanks again for taking the time - it's like you are the "just right" person to get feedback from, you've already gone down the exact path I'm just starting with respect to the SEO software thing....

My #1 purpose for the / a software would be the reporting capability - it's nice to push a couple of buttons and generate a really nice report, but at ~$500, that's a lot of money unless I really plan to do a lot of reporting.

Just like you, my plan would be to do offline customer reporting and lead generation with the / a software - I could do this in other ways with other tools, but again a "one-button solution" is nice, but $500 is not so nice.

I also use Market Samurai extensively and have had it for some time (since Nov. of '08) and boy, they just keep cranking out the features, don't they? - anyway, I can clearly export SEOC grids, Keyword Analyis, Rank Tracking, etc. so maybe I'll just stick with MS and save myself $500 but have to take a few extra steps to do SEO reporting/analysis for clients and prospects.

Michael, thanks again for your input! I welcome any other comments you may have!

          Best,
          David
