What are the forums giving high traffic?

I wonder, What are the forums giving high traffic?
I am sure, Our warriorforum is one of them. However, I know there are some other forums which have huge traffic and placing signature ads will bring more direct hits. (Apart from the niche).

What are the fourms which you guys are using?
Let's discuss on it.....

You can expect traffic if the forum meets 2 requirements:

    1) must be targeted to the niche you're in
    2) must have lots of active members

For IM besides WF Webmaster Forum - Internet Marketing & Search Engine Forums is one of the biggest forums.

We used to get a lot from The Stork Forum, at least some of our members did.

The trouble we have is that "Storks" itself is a very specific niche, so people looking for Storks on the Net tend to be looking for sites about birds.

But having an "off topic" title can be a good thing in other ways.

Remember when you pretend to be a non-im'er, google is your friend. And they spend Billions on very smart people and computers, to bring you the most relevent sites for what your looking for. So for whatever niche you want simply type "niche" + forum and the top ranked (which usually means most popular, with the most users) will appear at the top of the serp.

        Hope this Helps,

Hit the nail on the head there. Just go to the top results and check the activity of the forum and compare it to the second ranked.

Forums are one of my biggest marketing activities, and not just because of the sig file. You learn new things everyday and get tips and information that is relevant and useful.

I use 5 marketing forums: Warriorforum,5 star affiliate marketing forum, digital point, smallbusiness brief and talk home business.

Here is a list of "do-follow" forums in different niches:

It's not about the amount of clicks you get but how targeted they are. If you are in MLM then you should probably look and try to find a forum that is based soley on MLM. You may not get as many clicks as you would here in a larger forum but they will be much more targeted. This applies for any niche. Trust me.. There is a forum for just about everything out there. Just do some research and you will find a ton.

I am also a pretty successful forum marketer I own a few big forums in certain niches and well they are great but thats only because I am giving them what they want

So I spose if a fprum jas 500 members and they all buy what your selling then its a good forum but if a forum has 5000 members and none buy it then its not great is it.

Any forum that has lots of idle chatter about celebrities is going to have ridiculous amounts of traffic, depending on your niche it may not be targeted well enough though.

i find alot of big websites running forums these days no longer offer signatures, does this mean that apart from putting a url within the post itself that traffic will not be possible?
