Yes. I agree with all of that.

Another one is you don't have to deal with annoying workmates.

    Plus you're the boss.

Office politics is a big reason why people switch jobs all the time. Working from home can sometimes be a good stress reliever.

    yea office politics..is zzzz

but benefits of working from home also does have stress

    but stress level is different.

    Is all about earnings.

Some IM per month just got decent amount is good enough

some IM don't feel enough and want more ( which everyone no doubt want isn't )

but when come days you don't have much sales..everythings seem suddenly hey wire don't know why...

stress come as you try to figure out what went wrong.

So I should say Stress still have but is more individuals ....worry about each day sales.

whereas working for others you are been paid ...every month no need worry money because is constantly been pay.

for IM no doubt we also have constant " rebill programs etc " but there is not confirmation as members one day will not continue ..thus your monthly income getting lesser . and you will have to seek for new members.

Agreed -- working from home is not a panacea and it does come with its own stresses.

Your family will believe you're not working. After all, do you go out anywhere? Nope. So you can't be working because you don't go to an office, right? (Limiting beliefs of a past generation, still going very, very strong today.)

If you have family, they will constantly be interrupting, even after you work at home for years, because "you're not doing anything important, right?"

There's no buffer between you and your family. They're right there. No time off.

If you have animals, same issue. "Hi, I want attention now. Oh, you shut the office door? That's nice, I don't care." Scratch scratch Thump thump

It's all on you. You can't blame your boss, the company, your commute, nuthin'. A bad month at the company, your spouse can handle that I bet. A bad month at your home business? No, he or she will go ape-crazy and start wailing it's over.

Working at home often means you spend long periods not meeting anyone new in person. I spent 2-3 years working from my home office, and realized I hadn't met a client in person that whole time. All my work was by Skype, phone, and email. At that point I started helping a local friend market a TV show (turned out well) just so that I could get out and meet new people.

Home offices are nice if you live alone. If you have family, animals...dependents, basically...it's going to be a challenge. I'd check for local office space and see if it's cheap. Shared workspace is often available. In my area, a 10x10 office goes for $300/month. That's well worth it and the additional cost a) is an expense, and b) boosts productivity to bring in more revenue than that to pay for it.

If you discover you have a supportive spouse who can handle the ups and downs of a home business (note I did not say "who will handle"...you can only find out by actually doing this)...wow, count your lucky stars.

My top benefit of working from home is the following: I have not missed any important step in my daughter's life!

I heard her first word. When she walked her first steps she fell into my arms. I saw how she started playing by herself... and so much more... I think you get the point.

Being my own boss and work my schedule as I please are nice perks as well ;-)

I banned watching youtube on all computers.

    My productivity went up.

Working from home is great, but do not get conned into thinking watching farting cats, and frezby flying dogs will make sales. LOL. hahah.

Do solid work, and you will see profits out the other side.

no one is your boss, and its tempting to get sidetracked, So i use an hour glass, and tip it and see how much stuff I can get done in an hour and then have a rest for 30 mins an then go again.

    helps with productivity.

One thing that many people fail to mention is although there are many benefits from working from home, there are actually some disadvantages as well.. it can get easy to get complacent if you don't have the right goals and drive, it can also lead to other things if you don't stay focused.

Benefits are you get to be accompanied by your pets (if you have any) which is always fun. It is less stressful because you are not dealing with office politics. Depends on the person as well. Some people thrive in that busy environment and some people cannot focus when they are by themselves. Just depends on the person.

I'm the best boss I've ever had.
I'm not always tough enough. I tell myself I'm tired so my boss (me) tells me to rest or take a nap...and then when I do...no one complains about it. Sort of takes the fun out of being a slacker if you aren't making the boss mad....

...and I don't always work in my underwear...because it gets chilly...and my desk sits in front of a big window and I have to duck when the FedEx or UPS guy drives in....

This working at home is not all fun and games, folks. There are intricacies involved.

LOL .... i'd bet many of you have no idea what it's like or what it takes to run your own successful business in the real world...
Long hours, working weekends and holidays, stress with staff, paychecks, bookkeeping, suppliers etc. etc. That's more like the reality of running a real business and being your own boss, not saying you own a business while in truth all you are doing is watching Youtube and surfing the net all day long in the PJ's your mommy got you ....

I use to do that until the baristas at char bucks complained saying:
What you need to do is get a real job instead of always being on your computer playing games. I decided to pay $90 per month and get fast internet service. Well, it is not that fast any more. Planning to return to star bucks real soon. BTW, I am working, not playing games. Also, a lot of people would ask me how much money I make per year. Yeah, back then Google would send me a check and so would amazon. It is all direct deposit now. Sadly, I cannot show my Google check to people like we did in previous years.

The company I worked for recently implemented a work-from-home-flexi-time policy. This has made such a difference in my life. Some of the benefits are:

    - Flexibility, time
    - Reduce stress
    - Save time and money from having to commute
    - If you have pets or children, better quality care
    - Home cooked food!
    - Be happier!

Here are the reasons why i like working from home:
    1. Your Office Can Be Any Kind
    2. Your Office Can Be Anywhere
You can take care of your job while traveling, enjoying the great outdoors or even listening to your favorite band at a live concert.
    3. You’ll Save Money
You can save on food costs and clothes for work since you’ll easily be able to whip up your own lunch and coffee if you work from home and you do not need any special clothes to work from home.
    4. Your Schedule Can Be Your Own
A lot of the work that can be done remotely nowadays can also be done on a flexible schedule.
If you do need to work specific hours, you’re sure to still have some break time—time you can use however you’d like!
    5. You Can Learn More and Become More Independent
You’ll find yourself developing the skill of looking for your own answers and becoming more proactive to find what you need on your own. And you’ll end up with some skills simply because you need them to work well remotely.
    6. You Can Actually Have Enjoyable and Effective Meetings
With just a few clicks, you can have 10 people on a video call that’ll probably last just 15 minutes instead of 45. And you can use the chat function in the video call to quickly share docs (forget making copies or having everyone search their emails) or to add important comments without interrupting anyone.

Not every working from home is the same. It's different if you're working from home out of your kitchen table or bedroom, or if you have some sort of an office-like room in you home. I would always suggest to have some sort of an office within your home. This way you are at home, but you will behave more professionally and will get more things done. More things done - more money.

I was reading about an online gold trading enterprise once (https://www.linkedin.com/company/global-intergold) and have found a couple of curious facts, which made me think about my own incomes. Of course I didn't rush to give my money to some unknown company. But what I did is I found people who do the business, who have been working a long time and who showed me that it works. They told me that now they travel a lot â€" it has always been my dream â€" so, let's see how it all will turn out.

The question is "how many are really working from home?"

Sorry to say this and I know it sounds very sarcastic, but too many folks here are not working from home yet... they're working online in their spare time, after their day jobs have sapped out their whole strength to focus and work on their online business.

If that's you, build out a great funnel and find a way to automate almost everything, from traffic generation to product delivery, etc etc...

That's the SUREST way to make working from home possible.

I know a ton of folks going through this thread are not working from home yet...sad but true.

Why are they always locked up by the way? So that we knock? Or are they so dangerous to be let loose?

Many people say they have online businesses, but they don't reveal you that they need to take their cars, search customers, make calls, go to meetings/seminars, etc. etc.

There are tons of benefits about the REAL home business (I do it since 15+ years). I open my laptop when I want, and work in pijama from the comfort of my room. You can relax, watch the tv, work for some hours, do everything you desire to do.
