So I assume you haven't done anything with the advice you've been given when you've asked the same basic question already a couple times?

What's stopping you from taking the advice already given? Did you not like it? Do you want more information before you even start? Do you want something easier or more exciting?

I'm not trying to be hard on you - many of us went through this. But unless you can figure out what is holding you back and change whatever it is, you probably won't succeed online.

I agree with MikeAmbrosio that no one can give a specific actionable plan without knowing more about you.

Maybe you could spend that money on a business coaching session?

That would guide you in some direction but I doubt if you'd end up with a single, specific and actionable plan...

I'm a business coach, social media consultant, copywriter, I've learned many ways of money online and offline, and you know what?

I can't give you a specific answer because you question is not specific enough.

Do you want to teach how to play guitar?

Spend some money on printing flyers and deliver them locally to get your first students.

Or create a Udemy course and make money that way. Maybe you'll need a few bucks to buy a decent microphone (apparently they don't have to be super fancy to meet Udemy standards).

I like the tip on buying some products during sale and flipping them on eBay for profits. Or you could try the other way round: buy cheap stuff on eBay and sell it on the markets or online for a bit more, reinvest, rinse, repeat.

You can order a couple of designs with a guitar and some quotes on Fiverr, put them on https://teespring.com/.

If your nickname has nothing to do with what you want to do, try something else; as other Warriors suggested: get a blog, sell affiliate products, or create your own.

Give me more information and help me to help you:
        - How much time do you have to work on this plan? If you work two jobs just to pay the bills, and additionally study, you obviously won't be able to spend 60 hours per week working on your business
        - Do you like working with people and for people? Creating websites a selling them on Flippa is one thing, creating a website for a client who doesn't have a clue what you're doing and why is a different kettle of fish
        - Online, offline or both?
        - Your skills? What you're good at? I'm not talking about only qualifications or certificates, but simply stuff that you know how to do well, something that people often comment on - can you make people laugh? Get good photos? Find out how to fix your laptop that has a black screen and won't power up although you're not really a techie?
        - Would you like to learn something new or you're not interested? I constantly enroll in courses on Udemy, coursera.org and other sites, and my choices are pretty eclectic. But I know that not everyone like learning.
        - What have you tried already? If it didn't work, why not?
        - Obstacles? What stops you from having that plan ready and working on it it?
        - Will you enjoy working on the projects that are going bring you profit, or would you rather outsource and just manage them?
        - Are you a starter or a finisher? Do you see the big picture or you prefer to work on the details?
        - Your weak points? I have lots of ideas, I often overcommit and then don't finish what I started, I get distracted easily, and the shiny object syndrome I'm aware of that so at least I notice when I make the same mistake again. You?
        - If you didn't have to work, what would be your single, specific and actionable plan for your spare time? Girls who love make-up create YouTube videos about new shades of lipstick, stay-at-home-mums review toys and sell second-hand baby clothes, people who love traveling and photography make money travelling and getting photos.

It's surely easier building your business around something that you like, or it becomes another 9-5 (or much longer hours and still no fun

Partner up with the next 49 people who start a "I only have $50 to invest" thread.

        50 people x $50 = $2,500. Now you've got some money to work with.

Set a limit on those snacks, though. Don't want it to get out of hand.

    Get started.

    That's what you could do.

Spend $9-$10 on a fiverr course and learn the inside and out of that course.

Take action on what you were taught.

Start offering graphic design services... suck at graphic design? Remember Fiverr?

    Just do something.

But DON'T start buying a product every single week, you'll end up going in circles.

Well you can buy more snacks from 7-11 )))

On a serious note, $50 will give you nothing. Meaning, if you have good skills, the money is irrelevant because you will make it work either way. But, if you don't have skills to make it work, then even $1000 might not do much good for you.

You can start by actually making up your mind...

Figure out what business model you want to pursue; no-one here can help you, especially since you've asked this question before, and you've never done anything despite getting some good answers.

Making money online is just like making money offline, you have to connect people to a product or service they're willing to pay for.

Likewise, that also means being responsible enough to make a decision and stick to it.

Get serious and get to work, else you'll be here a few years later, asking the same questions.

The main question is: Do you want to learn something new that will bring you money in the future? You can use the 50 dollars you have to pay for some course online (although you can find a lot of them for free) and you can use that knowledge to earn money using sites like freelancer and upwork. It is very important to learn from the courses so you can get good grades on the tests on upwork. That will increase your chances to get a job, and start making money.

$50 won't do much for you. Still, you can start up for free for some important things.

Download GIMP and Inkscape. Learn them, then offer graphic design gigs on Fiverr.

Create a blog on WordPress or Blogger. Then join a lot of groups on social media and promote it.

If you have some skills to offer as a freelancer, start marketing it on freelancer sites ie: upwork & fiverr.

Don't have to spend a dime.

    GuitarArvin,

No one can give you a single actionable plan without knowing what it is that sparks your interest. Because I can refer you to some very good low cost and free places to learn to code. But I have no idea if that interests you.

HOW do you want to make money? Do you want to create and sell products? If so, what KIND of products? Have you researched the guitar niche for opportunities (assuming by your name you play...)? If the guitar niche is of interest, perhaps you can round up 5 to 10 good guitarists and interview them. Ask about their playing styles, how they learned to play, etc. Then create an ebook, or a series of videos and either sell them (a WSO could work here) or give them away to build a list.

How about affiliate marketing? You can create a blog in a niche and write (or buy) good articles on the subject of your choice, find ways to drive traffic to it, and get visitors to join your mailing list (the autoresponder comes in here) - then you can sell them products as an affiliate.

Me - I got my start by learning how to install perl and php scripts (back in 2002 or so when scripts didn't come with auto installers). Some scripts I got $150 an install...and no, I am not a coder.

Bottom line here is there are a multitude of ways to make money. As soon as you decide on something (and share it here) then perhaps people can be more helpful to you.

    Good luck.

HA! I see what you did there.

Getting your feet wet in the industry is pretty vital. It's also coming down to what you're passionate about and identifying how you can profit like it's hot.

What I'd suggest is start at the top of the food chain to what you are interested in, if not already invested in. Start by that front and keep a marketer's perspective on your interest, it only gets better from there.

As far as the $50 is concerned, milk it. I know this is kind of hacky, but milk it for what it's worth. If someone is selling you something for your growth in Internet Marketing for $50, ask as much as you can to learn as much as you can before buying. Knowledge in the IM industry is power, which you can translate to sales. This is pretty standard hustling IMHO.

      Go get 'em!

Do you have a cell phone that has a video filming camera?

If yes, I'd say, buy a Joby Gorilla Pod for it (the small $20 one, with the cell phone holder top - not the camera screw top - google it if you don't know what that means, there are lots of videos and articles out there about it.)

Next buy a microphone that plugs into your phone.($5 to $10)

Next, buy a selfie stick. ($5 to $10)

Next buy some velcro ($1 - $3) - put the grips on the dash of your car and the loops on the legs of the gorilla pod

With the rest of the money, put gas in your car. Put your camera/phone on the gorilla pod and put it on the dash. Angle it so, your face shows up on one side and the rest of the screen is capturing the view out your driver's side window as you drive. Now, drive around your home town and record yourself talking about your life, your town, local history, maybe review the restaurants you eat at, drive by 7/11 and talk about why you shop there...

Now look for other video you can make - record yourself reading, playing video games, shopping, cooking, painting, sewing, working on your car, changing a tire, planting roses, whatever... what do you like to do? Just do it and record yourself doing it. Based on your name, do you play guitar? Record yourself playing guitar, make how to play guitar videos, etc.

Then, put the videos up on youtube. Be sure to tag them properly (don't spam tag). Link to any social networks (facebook, twitter, etc) that you have in the description of each video and tweet every video after uploading it so you followers find it.

It's something anyone can do... heck, if you have a phone that records video, you can start out with just that and nothing else, then add more equipment later as you need to.

I did this in March 2016 - I had made $31.18 by April 2016, not much no, but a pretty good start for pretty much not doing anything, with next to nothing for start up money. As of today (May 11, 2016) I have got 49 subscribers and am averaging about 70 views a day, across 138 videos uploaded since March 30, 2016.

Interestingly - I already had books published on Amazon (since 2010), but sales were only 1 to 3 copies per book, per month, so about $10 a month income.

HOWEVER... because I CosPlay one of the characters from one of my books, I made a video about sewing my newest CosPlay for this character and linked to the book in the video description... 2 days and 140 views later, that book had 5 sales in one day... now a month later... 2 days ago that same book had 20 sales... yesterday it had 16 more sales...

I'm sitting here thinking... OMG! Why didn't I start making youtube videos years ago?!?!?!? Not only am I earning money from the videos (about $1 per 1,000 views) but now I've had an increase in sales of my books because of it.

Not sure how much of an income this will be long term. Will it go higher then $30 a month? If so, when and how long will it take to do it? I don't know. I'm only just starting with youtube, so still guess work as to where this will go long term for me. It's not enough to live on right now, but it's a start and even though it's not much, $30 a month from youtube, is an extra $30 I didn't have last month.

Do you write music/songs? Make song books for CreateSpace and Kindle. The make videos of you playing the songs, and link to the books in your videos.

I'll tell you what my long term plan is, don't know if it'll help you in your internet income career goals or not (not sure what you are interested in doing in you online career)...

Last fall (October 2015) I started setting up an online store. I start researching in 2013, and decided on drop-shipping. By October 2015, I had written up a business plan (I took an 8 week course at a local community college, on business plan writing for entrepreneurs).

I knew what type of a store I wanted (occult/pagan/wiccan themed supplies, gifts, and jewelry) (there are millions of themes you can choose from; I picked this theme because I am a Voodoo Priestess and already do spell casting, card readings, spirit communication, etc, and teach people how to do it too, and so this is me having an online store where I can tell my offline clients "Here, now you can order your supplies from me" - so if you do dropshipping - figure out what hobbies you like to do and sell products based off your favourite hobby - don't just pick any products to sell at random - sell products you enjoy and use yourself - I know there exist music supply dropshippers, perhaps you could start a dropshipping store for guitar enthusiasts?) and but it took ages and ages and ages for me to finally track down a drop ship supplier that had stuff like crystal balls and spirit boards and tarot cards, etc, etc,...wow! I kept finding a supplier and then I'd realize they were just a "reseller" who was dropshipping items, from a larger dropshipper! So if I had used them I'd be dropshipping from a dropshipper who was dropshipping from a dropshipper!!!

    0.o

But after months of searching, I FINALLY found the tap root source - the dropshipper behind the dropshippers, and set up an account with them, and so finally I have a database of about 10,000 wicca themed products to put in my store... next I had to have a store! LOL!

I decided on Shopify (joined them in February 2016 - signed up for the $30 a month store, current set at the $14 a month option, so people can view it while I'm building it before it goes live) (It's set to go live September 2016).

So, where I am at right now...and how this connects to making youtube videos...

My plan is, to buy one of each of the products I'll be selling in my store, take custom photos of the items for my store (so I don't have to use the generic ones that the dropshipper supplies), write custom descriptions of each product, based on my own personal review of having bought it myself and used it... then, film me using said product, making a how-to video on how to use it for example - buy a Faerie Spirit Board, film me doing a seance using that board, then the youtube video will link to my Shopify page where that board is listed for sale; at the same time the video is on that page of my shopify store (uhm... not sure yet how to do that or if I can)... Plus, I have my SBI site (my homepage linked to in my signature) (not cheap - one of the more costly ways to get a site running; not for everyone - designed for sites that host lots of pages of articles, so if you will have fewer then 1,000 pages on your website; go with someone other then SBI, like WordPress; I love SBI, but it's for a very specific type of site hosting and not right for everyone- also, I write code and script so my site is heavily customized and looks nothing like the standard "SBI template" that comes with the SBI program), where each of my youtube videos will also have it's own "homepage" on my site, that will like wise link to both my Youtube page of that particular video and the item page on my Shopify.

Do you make guitar picks or straps? You could sell them on eBay, Etsy, and Shopify. Maybe you could buy guitars at flea markets, fix them up and resell them online? There's a lot of ways you could take your guitar hobby and combine it with an online store. Look inside yourself and see what it is you like to do already and figure out how you could make money online with your hobby you are already doing.

It's a long process, getting all the items, writing the reviews, filming the videos, then making the pages. (It'll take me most of the year to do it, thus why my Shopify store would go live until September)...but I think, once I've got this fully set up, with-in 3 years (so around 2018/2019) the combination of my Shopify dropshipping store and my youtube videos, should be a steady full time income for me. That's the goal at least.

It's a lot of work, a lot of hours, and, to do what I'm doing, requires a lot more money then your $50 start up (I've put well over $5,000 into this business already and I'm not even opening the store for another 4 months yet! and it will take time to build customers and stabilize the income - 2 or 3 years, probably)... so it's not a free way to fast cash, but long term it's a stable way to a stead income.

But if you only have $50 and are looking to do something that will bring in a "hobby income" in low time and not much effort, definitely start a daily vlog about your life, put up a video on youtube every single day, and once you have 100 videos up, you should start seeing a small income trickle in, and steadily increase over time as you keep uploading more daily videos.

    Hope that helps you out.

Whatever you do.. good luck with it!

You can start on Ebay, Fiverr, or a freelancing site (like freelancer.com). Other than that, you pretty much can't get much going with $50... even if you tried to do an affiliate program model.

Here is just one way to get started with only 50 bucks, however, it will consume a lot of time:

    1. Choose a niche (a niche you know much about is always better)
    2. Choose a product
    3. Write an ebook / free report and include marketing message/CTA with aff link to the product. (important to provide real and original value to the subscriber!)
    4. Get an autoresponder (aweber-Promocode: LP60 (60 days free trial))
Write a 12-30 day email sequence, provide content/value, don't overpromote your product
    5. Get an autoresponder (Leadpages (60 days for $1 via Aweber partner offers))
Make 3 entirely different squeeze pages (split test)
    6. Get traffic:
6.1 Make a bing ads account, buy a ads coupon from Fiverr (value varies between $50 and $100(cost = $5)
    6.2 Make a google ads account, deposit $25, get $75 extra (1-time-only)
Look for free courses on Udemy to get 2 campaigns started

6.3 Forum traffic: Search on google "niche keyword" + Forum . Identify multiple forums and lookup on Alexa the amount of monthly traffic a forum has. Forum must accept signature links.
Build a reputation on the forum and make a good CTA signature link.
More QUALITY posts = More traffic

This works and it's fun to do

First, you need to be honest with yourself. Are you really cut out to be an entrepreneur?

People who need specific, step by step direction usually do better as employees.

All along your journey you're going to have to adjust and shift and be willing to make decisions -- on your own without anyone else to depend on. If you can't do that, then you can't run a business online or offline.

This doesn't mean you can't ask for help. But you're going to have to do your own research. Find a specific business model that excites you (many people have given you specific ideas).

THEN come back and ask questions.

If you want hand holding then you're going to have to get personal coaching and it's going to cost a lot more than $50.

This is the same advice I'd give my own son.

Pick a profitable niche, buy a cheap domain name and hosting, buy some PLR Articles or start writing content yourself, then monetize with Google Adsense or Affiliate marketing(Clickbank, Amazon, etc).

OOPS that other post went out to soon any way

    Focus on one niche

Then get a domain name that is related to that niche $10 per year

Get hosting for the domain name $10 per month

Get autoresponder... Aweber and GetResponse are both offering free 30 day trials then they charge $15 to$19 per month

Put your domain on wordpress (free to do inside your cpanel) and get some content on there with affiliate links scattered throughout the content

Place an opt-in form above the fold that shows on every page and post

Drive traffic to the opt-in forms

    Get started building your LIST

If you get stuck on any of the above Google is your best friend for finding any answers and solutions

Above all else take action and do it. No more 7-11, that ain't makin ya no money. Do it now or you'll be here next year at the same time asking the same damned question!

You do not need $50 to start your business .

You need will to work a bit hard initially.

    1. Niche selection , and content creation.

    2. Create a facebook page , collect graphics that are free to use ( creative commons ) dont directly use for commercial purpose. but to put in your fb page .

    3. Start providing content on that FB page for entertainment and education

    4. Interact with the people and support them and engage. in turn build up a free landing page ( using any software that gives a free trial )

    5. Get an auto responder free of cost and integrate

    6. Once you have built a good list , connect it with autoresponder and then start promoting from JVzoo or Clickbank. select a product which is not very competitive and has moderate sales.

Once you strike your first sales buy a domain. buy a good service autoresponder and move faster.

    Cheers and good luck.

Start trading binary options, there are plenty of free and paid resources online teaching you how you make money with them. Unlike normal trading they offer much higher returns but however they also carry more risk, in the long run I have profited greatly. Simply watching youtube videos and signing up to more advanced education websites.

With $50, you can start with selling fiverr service to local company. But, it's for a short term. What you need to understand here is, money is not the only important thing because investing time to learn IM knowledge is also important.
