First and new adventure...

Hello warriors,

I'm a web designer & front-end developer (beginner back-end developer), but i've never made a lot of money, i have made it only when i found a client to make a design/website for him ( 1 or 2 clients / year ).. I tried to join some web marketplaces to send templates but i can't get much sales..
So i decided to make a website to watch series
I made it from scratch (web design & front-end and back-end are all mine)

I bought a domain + host : streawin.com ( and a short URL : streaw.in )
i used an API to add series info & each episode's info, but there is no API to add episodes' videos
So now i'm adding them manually ( average 10 series / day )

And i'm already thinking how can I earn money from this.... I tried propeller and i think it's good..a friend told me that he earns $7/daily with 1500-2000 visitors/day from propeller.

I was thinking to promote my website in Facebook, and get some services on fiverr, but i don't have big budget, i want to invest between $50 - $75
If you have any ideas that could help me please tell me...

Hey CoolDES, I've never done any sort of client work but there's a post that every service provider on this forum MUST read:

    http://www.warriorforum.com/offline-...ess-model.html

Read that, it's one of the best things you can come to terms with if you want to get better results with your web design and developer business.

    Regards,
    Daniel

It is not just you, a lot of web developers and designers struggle to find new clients, this is why you need to price your services higher when found that new client...This is why most entrepreneurs who offer their services choose to display samples of their work on their personal websites.

I'm a graphic designer, one thing that you need to understand is to see your client as a customer not a buyer. when I do this my client becomes a customer, not all of them but some of them asked for another project and some of them asked me more. it's just an idea, why don't you contact again your clients and offer your service by showing some other works related to web design like template types, illustrations, new style of icon, etc. hope it helps.

    CoolDES,

You need to lose both business models, IMO. The movie site will get shut down and unless you setup a design agency, where you oversee operations, you'll have to eek out one-shot deal after one-shot deal. You have options, though. And more than most.

    - You can design.
    - You can write.
    - Sounds like you know your way around socials.
    - You seem bright.

I can think of a thousand applications for those abilities. Your best bet? Two spring to mind.

    1. Put together a service for IM newcomers on WF (and other IM forums) to give them what they need. They all need, at the very least, a blog or a squeeze page. Just be sure to put together a capable team of VAs (maximize growth potential).

    2. Affiliate marketing. I reckon you're the type of chap who could throw together landers and blogs in an afternoon. In your shoes? That's what I'd do. I'd start out with landers and learn to capture traffic to build assets (list, socials).

    - Tom
