  • Hi,

Clickbank and JVZoo are perhaps the most popular optioons where you can launch your product. With clickbank, you can set up an affiliate program as a merchant but JVzoo now is fastly becomeing competitive as well.

Have to be a little more specific than that - "product" could mean virtually anything.

You seem to be referring to a platform or website - if so, I'm not understanding what you mean by "publishing" it...do you mean hosting?

Your dilemma is exactly why every business needs to have a marketing plan.

Your market research into your niche will help you to identify who your perfect customers are, what their demographics are, where they hang out, what types of problems they're trying to solve, what products they're asking for, etc.

When you know the answers to these questions, marketing is no longer a guess or a black hole of uncertainty.

Through research you know who will be buying your product or service and you will uncover where to market to your niche audience.

Intuitively, you know that you must put your product offer in front of your targeted audience. You want buyers ready to make a purchase seeing what you have to offer. Your marketing plan should address who your best buyers are and where they can be found.

Your marketing plan should not be intimidating or stress-inducing.

Check out the 5-minute marketing plan developed by Jay Conrad Levinson. It will get you started in the right direction. The more thinking and research you put into your plan . . . the better it will address your needs. So spend a day or two on it if that will help you further.

    The best to you,

    Steve

Working on the product the only way you have a chance to even compete is to study what the top players in your product space are. How are they making their money or what platforms are they using?

Copy what the top people are doing...

You should read biography books on the history of eBay and Amazon. There some information on how those companies got started.

Doesn't matter that it's a "website like ebay,"

The same principles Steve discussed do apply.

It's a business you are starting.

Not everyone uses ebay. And no clue what your twist is, but this needs to factor into the market research and demographic as well.

Even the background mechanics of this business will determine the best course of action you should be taking.
