Hiring a virtual assistant to respond to hundreds of emails per day?

I was thinking of using the domain email with Gmail.

How would you safely go about this?

Is there a way to both have access to emails and a way to protect myself as far as passwords, account control etc?

    I would recommend that you simply have your Virtual Assistant set up their on email account, while you set up a different account that you have full control of.

    You can then automatically forward each support email that you receive to your Virtual Assistants email account.

      Yes I plan on using my domain email with Gmail. Can I have seperate users on the same account from different countries/computers etc?

    The back and forth emails are part of the sales process to keep it more personal, 3-4 up to 50+ messages back and forth etc.

    Is there a way to have one email address, Gmail, and a virtual assistant handle the daily emails while still keeping control of the email account etc?

    I would also like to have access to log in throughout the day to see their responses etc.

    Why not just change the passwords to something like their name and then once you're done having them as an employee, changing the passwords?

    If you're worried about privacy with your VA I would probably suggest a very specific email responder or an automatic forwarder that allows your VA to reply and send via an alternative Gmail account.

    If you don't trust your VA, then you may need to engage someone you trust and pay a higher rate.

    Make sure you have signed NDA's and a contract if you are worried.

    Hundreds of emails per day won't get a very personalised response so autoresponders and detailed filters may work best.
