Yes, they probably allow some free subdomains (5,10,15 or more) but the more important is that they allow you to have even different domain on that same hosting.
Like you buy domain from namecheap or some other domain register and attach it to your hosting.

    Thanks

You may want to consider that having extra space or features, in and of itself, isn't a good enough reason to start a new site.

Especially since the feeling I think most people have that have seen your posts over the last couple years is that your first site isn't really successful yet. You mention a few dollars here or there but it sounds like it hasn't really taken off. Maybe I'm wrong, though.

The other issue is that starting a new site on a whim instead of by plan is likely to not go anywhere either.

I'm not against having multiple sites. I'm just saying that if your main reason for wanting to have a new site is you have the free space I think it's a mistake to go forward with that plan. Of course, that's just my opinion.

actually my site I don't know is it due to the theme script or what
as my site is a video blog , " by right " don't take up much resources as the videos are hosted from youtube.

so I happen to upgrade the plan few months back , now my resources never run out.

well I guess should just concentrate my only site perhaps.

yea , perhaps I have to admit is my mistake as my present plan able me to have multi sites which I feel wasted since I only have one site.

but what yours comments is right and logic there. :

          Correct here^^.

Have you written out a thorough marketing strategy? Have you done your niche homework? This is very important. And I would take out a brand new domain name for your new venture. I see now why this is a "noob question" due to your about to be "noob" decisions.

That is correct. Purchase additional domain names, change the nameservers to redirect to your hosting company, and set the domain up in your hosting cPanel. The switch may take 24 - 48 hours to propagate, so be patient.

well I think I skip to maximize my plan
since I can host few more sites.

problem is time , despite I doing IM full time.

beside blog , I also concentrate other marketing.

is too much to handle , I need to focus just one site first , and spend more time on other marketing programs.

      lol , no..

because All the while I just want to do one site if come to blog montize with adsense , click bank , amazon

beside my other ways to affiliate

Presently I no job , doing Full time on IM.

but still is hard to manage if alone " that why some IM outsource their work "

for me , my plan is concentrate just one site than another half of the day is promoting , marketing also doing my other affiliate.

reason why I CURIOUS and ask about sub domain stuffs because I on higher plan in site ground ,

I on higher plan because my site initial take up a lot resources as mention.

LOL you know we are born to be " greedy " or " feel lose up perhaps " ?

as you on higher plan and got that extra feature of able to set up multi sites you will tend like want to make few site just because you don't want to be in disadvantage of having a higher plan?

but overall some WF mention here is correct.

even I managed to come out a good niche , another sites ..." JUST because I using higher plan " end results might be worst ...

research , time , etc etc also need to be consider when coming and doing for 2nd site.

Keep in mind that just because you have the ability to create additional websites on your plan it doesn't mean that you really do. If on a "shared" hosting plan you're likely to hit a limit on the number of concurrent connections you can have issues accessing your site at a given time. When this happens users may encounter issues connecting, even if it is a video site.

In terms of having multiple sites the answer is to use a multisite solution, if using Wordpress. This way you can use a single database, install wordpress, configure it for multisite, and create additional subsites. If you then want to map the site to it's own domain you then have to but the domain and use the plugin which allows you to map it. If not you end up with www.mysite.com/mynewsite. If you map it then you can have www.mysite.com/mynewsite show as www.mynewsite.com.

There are a few extra steps but hopefully my response helped, if even a wee-bit.

Most web hosting companies will give you the added feature of adding multiple sites to your hosting plan... It's great!

But if you're only want to add another site for the sake of not taking advantage of this feature, then it may not be a good idea.

Plus, if you work alone, then it's best to focus on one goal, one site, and one venture...Till it works.

    thanks for fellow WF suggestion,

well I feel more comfortable just concentrate one site fully as mention I also do other affiliate marketing programs.

" IF " I plainly just focus on sites , well perhaps I " might " set up one or two additional sites.

Next , I work alone and very rare will outsource my work to others as i prefer to do myself and explore.

I still stick to just one site.
