Best Place to Sell a Website

Hey all,

I recently built an ecommerce store but I dont have time to maintain it. I think its worth some good money, but I'm not sure where to go to sell it. Can anyone recommend a good place to flip a website?

Thanks

I haven't been there in months, but forums.digitalpointdotcom used to do a ton of site selling, I know people that have regularly sold sites there for several hundred to $5,000+

There are a number of places but many people are using Flippa and that is where I list my sites when I have any.

      You can also use: SiteDeal.

      Good luck!

    Try selling it at:
    Digital Point
    Flippa
    Namepros

    I'd definitely go with Flippa.com.

DigitalPoint has a large forum to sell websites, but most of them are just junk. Flippa has some rubbish around, but for the most part, there are some very quality sites. So I'm sure you'd have better luck scoping out any quality prospects, that's the place to go.

Right here at Warrior Forum, there is a forum for selling websites. It's a subforum of the WSO forum.

It'll cost ya $20 to list it there. Then you can like to your listing in your sig. There are lots of warriros that'll buy profitable sites.

I'm not sayin it's the best place. But it'll be pretty good exposure for a measly $20.

Is the site making money? If not, Flippa and DP are OK, but if it's making money and is proven, you'll want to use a business broker specializing in online business and serious buyers. If that's the case, let me know and I'll refer you to a great company.

Thanks for all the responses, i'll try some of those. If anyone here is interested its a designer fragrance site. It's all drop shipping. It makes money but its almost brand new so it still needs some promotion. You can check it out at Fragrance Supply Co, Factory Direct Designer Fragrances

Also if anyone could check it out and maybe estimate what it might be worth that would be great. It automatically feeds products to many shopping comparison sites like Google Base, Shopmania, Shopwiki, etc...

The best way to estimate the value of your site is not to use valuation services but to compare your site against the stats/graphs at Sitepoint.
