hey guys i noticed something odd - the hits showing up on blogger are much greater than what is showing up on google analytics. Does anyone know why this is? im seeing hits from twitter that arent listed on g analytics.

Mostly some of traffic sources are blocked by google analytics, look at all the options you may blocked it yourselves or some default ones are not optimized for traffic that you are receiving.
They might be trapdoors or crawlers as well.
Bots you can see on TCP(Transmission Control Protocol, it shows how much loops package did in one sent) protocol if you looked it, but they don't show on main tab.

I was worried about discrepancies too and added Gostats analytics to my blog now i can see the user count on the blog itself as it doubles up as a hit counter too.
