"Buying A Beer" was a way to purchase a WSO, pay a warrior for a service he/she did, contribution to the Warrior for something you felt they said or did that was worth a reward.

On the old forum each Warrior had a ICON of a beer mug to the right of his/her warrior ID. All you had to do was click on the Beer Mug and it would take you to the Warrior's Pay Pal address. If you were buying a WSO it would have the amount of the purchase or if you were just sending the Warrior money for the above stated purpose, you would type in the amount.

Actually you can still use the old Forum to send those who were members a beer. For example I could put a link in here to one of my old post and because I was so helpful with this post you could send me $5.00 for example.

Also you can always go back to the Old Forum find the member and send them a beer for old time sakes or whatever.

I think the best way to do it now, and I have done this a couple of times, was send a private message to the member and tell them you want to send them a beer and ask for their pay pal account then send them the money.

If you need anybody to practice this procedure I will gladly volunteer :p

Before I get jumped by someone I'm just joking/kidding.

Thanks Ken - so would you know what the etiquette is for a WSO when an instant delivery is impossible . . .

      Hey Kevin,

It is always best to have a paragraph in your WSO sales letter explaining that the product will be delivered manually by you by e-mail, snail mail, Fed Ex, UPS etc.

If you are delivering by manual e-mail be sure and give them the amount of time it might take. For instance you will have to allow time for you to sleep etc. Then just make absolutely sure you get it delivered within that time frame. What I do is tell them with 24 hours. Most people seem to have no problem with it. But who knows how many sales might be lost because of a non automated delivery service.

However, if it's a product you can deliver with an instant download look at using E-Junkie for a very inexpensive way to have it delivered for you. Has a little bit of a learning curve, but it works great. If I remember right $5.00 will get you up to 10 products a month you put up for download.

Another way you could set up a PayPal thank you page with a link to your website for automatic download.

Somebody else jump in here and give some more ideas.

Kevin, you're welcome to buy me a beer any time you like. Doesn't seem like there's ever enough in my fridge.

    Ken,

If it ain't locked, it's unsecured and your own damn fault. My usual brand is Kokanee by the way. Please remember that next time you're at the store.
