in the UK we're GEO-routed to google.co.uk and I think we're on different data-centers.

  Seems to be a lot more people with the name VanFossen these days lol. And they all seem to have been given Donald as their first name. But twitter comes up first...I have no idea who the linkein result is...and then like 4th I see something I answered on the forum like yesterday.

That is pretty cool. I can think of one way however that this could be abused. I won't mention it here because I don't want to give any ideas, but if I just thought of it, I am sure a lot of others will as well.

Name ranking could always be abused. It's just one of those things. But a lot of people have a TON of other people with the same name that show up in search results. Like myself.

But I always recommend if someone is gonna be working online and eventually brand their name to try and grab their name in a .com and try to rank it a bit. Even if you are the only one who is searching for your name.
