What reasons to not use Clickbank?

Maybe I am wrong but seems the truthaboutabs, venusfactor, 3weekdiet, etc.. those type $50k-100k/day offers are always on clickbank.

Only one I can think of that went on his own was beyonddiet but I believe that was out of spite.

Is there any reason why you WOULDN'T want to promote an offer on clickbank?

Sure they take % + your 75% affiliate commission adds up..

But isn't $50k/day profit better than $10k/day profit???

Seems skies the limit profit wise selling on clickbank vs on your own?

There are several reasons. Just a few would be:

-Not wanting to be assumed to be a scam product.
-Not wanting to deal with scammy affiliates.
-Not being automatically flagged by all the major ad networks.
    -Not liking Clickbank policies.

I can go on. There are also positives to Clickbank, but that's not what you asked.

No idea why you're asking me that question. Warriorforum is not my company and I have no association with them other than having an account here like thousands of other people. I've also never sold anything on here and no one knows my company name, so nothing I say here is making my company look either good or bad.

As I said in my post, there are also positives to clickbank, but that was not the question that was asked, so I answered the question. You are free to answer the question as well, but your response to my post is bizarre.

Btw, I've also made posts here that are critical of Warriorforum as well. I simply tell the truth as I see it, without regard to what people may or may not want to hear and without trying to get in anyone's good graces.

One big negative for a lot of folks is the too easy refund policy.

Also, you need to be clear - the 50K part (or however much they are making) has absolutely ZERO to do with Clickbank in and of itself. They could have a PayPal button or an Authorize.net account or 2CO account and do just as well, in my opinion.

It's not where they are selling it's how they are selling - the marketing.

The refund rate and the fact that i have limited control on the item could be discouraging. Anything can happen.

Anyday, anytime $50k/day is far better than 10k/day but is that realistic?
    I guess not.

No, they are running a real business with email lists and unique products made by them, that's what big time money earners are doing, not Clickbank. Having a sales funnel or even with the licensing model will make better results.

You can make money with that but that's not where the real money is unless you are extremely good at it.

How about you go to Clickbank and find me Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig and others where $50-$100K a day would get the marketing manager fired.

And of the products you mentioned, how many can trace their success to being on Clickbank, and how many to their email lists, thousands or millions of ad impressions and hours of infomercials?

Clickbank obviously has its place, but that place is not at the top of the food chain.

I have started affiliate marketing only just a week ago.. I have been in the process of making my own website but in the off time I have been constantly reviewing click bank and I honestly have a hard time believing I could make money from any of their products. I'm registered with them but I don't believe that is the path I myself will take with my new business venture.

Can you please list a few "Scam Products" on clickbank? Also, I think you should change the mindset of "I can not persuade myself to buy them, how can I persuade others to try".

You are not your market audience. Just like how car sales man can't persuade themselves to spend millions on a car doesn't mean they can't persuade others who are interested.

To be honest, Clickbank is just an affiliate network. If "Your Hard Work Will Make Money" refers to marketing then promoting Clickbank is just a means to make money right?

What you say is true but you need to understand that Clicbank is one of the biggest network for "Digital Products". Of course, companies you just mentioned will NOT be on clickbank because they are not "digital products". You might as well say why isn't Apply or Samsung on Clickbank.

Also, Clickbank seems to be on top of the food chain to me when it comes to digital affiliate networks.

Apart from the affiliate promotion or network provided by Clickbank there are different benefits for different sellers.

If you run memberships or recurring type products the admin burden is reduced by using a processor like click bank.

Probably the biggest downside are fees and if you are an affiliate and not a seller then you may never reach their levels set where you receive payment for your referrals.

If you have an inactive account or "slow" account then your funds can get eaten up in admin fees.

If you are established then this is not such as issue and much like as I said if you are running some membership sites with people coming and going the admin of rebilling and cancellations is very well managed by CB

You don't have to list your product in the marketplace, you can just use their services.

    Best regards,

    Ozi

I've only been with clickbank for a week now. I even launched a website just for CB products but I removed everything because their products are not reliable even if they have more than 100% gravity. There are better options out there. Linkshare is better, and amazon way better.

"..their products" - which one? There are a lot of different producers, aren't? Or even all of them are doing not reliable products? Are you sure?

Sorry, but I didn't say ALL of their products. I admit I was stupid to start promoting those Paid to Survey, Paid to Write products. My readers told me their landing pages look scammy and I don't wanna risk my readership. Promote CB if you find the good ones.

Not all businesses on Clickbank are un-reliable. Their are a few gems that don't see e-books type products. You just need to find the products all it takes is 1 good product and you can bank a ton.

they make things very easy for us vendors... we don't have to worry about fraud (this is huge), paying affiliates each week/month... needing a merchant account or worrying about getting shut down for refunds... and if you have an offer thats broad, they have tons of affiliates who are actively looking for stuff to promote. People are more apt to promote it because they know CB hasn't missed any payments and you don't have to hunt the vendor down to get paid (not like this ever happens in IM LOL). Only downside IMO is the refunds.... I hate them.

btw some of these comments are comical... and such garbage... make sure you're listening to people who are doing it and are educated on the stuff, not people who are posting nonsense. :-)

Also, Clickbank seems to be on top of the food chain to me when it comes to digital affiliate networks.
The OP mentioned a bunch of diet and fitness related products and implied that these were the biggest in the field. I pointed out several diet and fitness related products that would never consider using Clickbank as a reseller.

It seems like the top of the food chain to you (and, to be fair, many others) because you are only looking at a small corner of the world.

First off, Clickbank is not a true "digital affiliate network". They are, and always have been, a reseller of digital products. Their roots are in providing a payment gateway to vendors who couldn't otherwise get a merchant account of their own. Technically, Clickbank buys the products from the vendors, sells them to end users, and pays the affiliate as agreed.

So, you are not really an affiliate for P90X or Truth About Abs. You are a rep for Clickbank. That's one reason that you, as an affiliate, don't receive any buyer information other than a sale, rebill or refund has been made.

Yes, they have thousands of tiny vendors, most of whom don't make a penny. And maybe millions of affiliates, most of whom also don't make a penny. Like any large collection, there are a handful of outliers like the ones mentioned by the OP, but their status as outliers has less to do with being on Clickbank and more to do with their own marketing - both on and offline.
