Here's my situation:

- I wrote a book and put it for sale on Amazon, It sells only about 1 copy per month. I am in Kindle and run the promotions.

- I have a landing page on my website (not a stand alone book website) designed to send people to Amazon. At the bottom of the page I have an opt in for a free gift. Stats say I get 12% sign up if they see it, but other stats say more than half never see the signup form (meaning they are not scrolling down). Paid traffic says there is very low searches for my keywords but I do get some traffic and signups from facebook group posting (maybe 4 signups a week).

- I have another landing page on the same website for an affiliate product. It is a new page but it is pretty much the same thing with the signup form at the bottom, low traffic, no scrolling down, and signups only from facebook posting (though the keywords do get a lot more searches).

- I built a website a 2 years ago that doesn't sell anything but has grown to more than 600 subscribers mostly on its own.

All three things are in the same niche. All 3 things are good products that will help people in my niche.

The question is - what do I do next to grow a better income than one book per month? Should I concentrate on creating more content/products, working on the landing pages, facebook posts, monetizing that website, or something I didn't think of?

I know that all of these things is the answer to my question but I only have about an hour a day and would like to target my efforts for best return so that I can finally see some results as I'm sure everyone does. What would you do first.

Thanks in advance

Don't give people choices, I would ditch the book promotion and solely offer the freebie on your landing page. You can then introduce your book through your follow up series.

Also you really need the form above the fold, either that or have a lot of valuable engaging information that your prospects find it hard to stop reading once they start. Keep them fully engaged and entertained and you will ensure that they see the form at the bottom of your page.

However the main issue here is... You really have to think about what you want your page to achieve...

    1) Send people to amazon to purchase the book?

    2) Add people to your list?

Don't try to do both on the same page - choose one or the other otherwise you are splitting the attention of your readers between two different actions and that will only lead to dis engagement and indecision.

The best way to learn about publishing on Kindle is to take Geoff Shaw's course. you can find it on Geoff Shaw Marketing dot com. I have no relationship with this vendor, just a happy buyer and user of the course.

Share your product to your social media accounts. Gather more traffics. It's one way to boost your sale. Promote your books as many times as you can through twitter. Do e-mail marketing.

Create a image. The secret is making people trust you and why make the page scrollable than? The solution sounds easy to me.

Give the people a reason to buy it. If you wanna be a boss and make mad dough what you can do is. Offer the book for free and all someone has to do is sign up. Once people sign up you send a email Thanking them for a sign up. Create relationship... Talk to them.... Should have thousand or so subs by now... Bam squeeze page with a awesome book purchase. Here is the thing, people trust people and people are suspicious on the internet. You are going to need to present yourself in a trusting maner. I am giving you advice for free but I am always here if you need help on this.

    Hello Malaker,

You really should not have even gone live without a structured launch process for Kindle. For example, Reviews are crucial.

I think you mentioned my keywords are low traffic...but then they should not be your keywords then right?

You mention no scrolling down but you keep designing the sign up for them to scroll down?

You say one sell per month..after the first month of one sale there should never be another...you have to completely overhaul your strategy then.

As suggested yes you need to study everything you can kindle..and really before you ever added a product to kindle but it;s never too late.

Are you promoting to those sign ups you do have? You could always add an offer at sign up like for a Free CPA offer.

Thanks to everyone that posted. I've gotten a lot of great help from this website. I immediately took the advise of the first poster STEVE and built a quick squeeze page (I think is correct name) and got immediate results. It was awesome!

I wrote the book and created the website for myself before I knew about this way to make money. Once the book was on amazon and I was trying to market it is when I learned and my eyes were opened. It is hard to get started for example - I spent hours on that landing page and got a lot of help and information from this forum, and spent a lot of time promoting it on facebook, but what I needed was a squeeze page lol. Oh well such is the path I guess

    I really appreciate the answers
