How to attract visitors to comment on my blog

I know you heard this already, but I'll still say it anyway. Content is the key. That's the number one key to make visitors comment on your blog post. As I have read on one of the thread here "Be informative yet entertaining with your posts." Do not create too boring contents. Make some entertainment out of that information. Just be creative and imaginative.

To attract the visitors you must use some tips and techniques.Post knowledgeable and informative blogs with more and more images because now a days people read less content so usage of images will attract them.Keep visitors updated and do promotions of your blog.Do post your blogs in regular basis which will attract them and they will start reading your blogs.Post valuable things in your blog i.e from day to day topics and make your blogs colorful,simple and attractive.

One of the biggest worries bloggers have is the silent blog syndrome. After putting endless hours of hard work into your blog, you find that it remains silent. No one comments. No one argues. No one praises. It’s a dark and lonely place.

How do you get people to comment on your blog? What tricks, techniques, and powers of persuasion must you possess? A quiet blog can be depressing, while an active blog is exciting. Once people start chiming in, sharing tips, arguing points, and having a conversation, you feel as if your blogging existence has finally been validated.

I know there are blogs where I would be willing to leave a comment, but I just can’t do it because of a broken comment system. Maybe the Captcha code isn’t working. Or I’m forced to choose an avatar. Or I have to log in to some system. Or I have to wait for the moderator to approve my comment. Or I don’t even know where to click to leave a comment.

All of these factors are comment killers. Look at your blog commenting process with fresh eyes. Or have someone else look at it, navigate it, and try to leave a comment. Fix any barriers and move on.

Make some interesting contents like the trending topic, Tutorials, conduct some poll on your niche which is engaging your readers to make some comments.

Share your content on social media and use hashtags, join relevant facebook groups, be active on forums, you could also run your own youtube channel.

Create some conversation starter. Ask some questions. Make your posts interactive. Don't just focus solely on you or your product incorporate your audience or readers.

I don't know how many visitors you are getting on that page but depending on the content and the ratio of number of comments will be low as most people just jump off the site after reading without even bothering to comment. Try to add social sharing icons so people can bring more attention to other people and spread it out more.

Look at this realistically, why would anyone comment on your blog? What would be the reason for conversation? What would be the topic of an conversation?

Most MMO blogs usually don't attract a lot of comments.

You may get occasional comments as you go on, but if you want conversations under every post you'll have to get bigger. You just started your blog, comments are result of traffic, so focus on traffic for now.

Make it easy for people to post comment in the future, and more importantly, give them a reason to want to post a comment, right now they don't have one.

By becoming an authority in your niche, and a well known figure will always help as well. You may want to consider blocking certain regions and ip's that continue to attack your site. Make sure you are taking the proper security measures for your site.

A large portion of people that comment on blogs and websites are subscribers on a website. If your site is lacking in user comments I would recommend learning to how to grow your email list ASAP. Your headline does a great work! If your headline is weak and lousy no matter how good the content is but if the headline is nothing it's useless! 2nd is the content! it must be juicy and something that get's tge interest of people! and of course maintain your status and and your consistency, people follow yoh for a reason! and make sure to keep that !

I would tend to agree with everyone here and say that to get genuine comments you might consider the following:

- Fresh and regular content - this should all be unique and tailored to your audience. I believe it should really be niche if possible and provide information people can't find anywhere else. Always ensure the content is free from spelling and grammar errors.

- Create a list of influencers and invite them to comment - this could be a way to get your blog taken seriously. If you share your blog and start a dialogue with some influencers in your market you might be able to get a bit of traction here. If they comment or if you can get them to do a guest blog you might be able to increase reach.

Alternatively, can you set up a subscription system which allows you to check your subscribers and their if they are genuine before they can post? Not sure if this is possible or not.

You would need to give your visitors some sort of an incentive or a FREE thing valuable to them in return for an comment. This give and take thing works well...

A single call to action isn't enough, besides if you put it in the end people need to read everything or the last part to read it.

Make the reading interesting and add a call to action everywhere (not spam). For example, I have the habit of stop reading and start making my comment when I see something interesting to avoid missing it, then I keep reading.

Lots of times I read only 50% of the post and if the call to action was only at the bottom, well I didn't see it at all.
