Hey Warriors,

Just a quick question, i recently thought i would try googe adwords for the first time and wanted to use it to drive traffic to my get response landing page but was unable to do this, google gave me the error message that the domain quality wasnt good enough, i think this is because of the .gr8.com part, my question is that, is there a way around this, im not looking to cheat the system or anything, just wondering if there is something i could maybe do ?

Thankyou for reading.

The only thing you can do is create a content page. Google Adwords do not allow any type of squeeze page that does not yield information.

To collect leads via Google Adwords you will have to create a page with content on it. You can then add your optin form to that page, but you can not promote a simple getresponse hosted form or a regular squeeze page that you have created yourself.

Below is an example of an add that I just clicked on in the Google Search Engine.

    Home

You will notice that this is a lead capture page, but it has a lot of content below the first optin button. You can use that page as a blueprint of how to set up your page.

To use Adwords you need a fully built out site with content. That's really the only way to do it (legit way)

How much content is on the page you are sending traffic to? Sounds like you need to add more to get a better quality score.

The days of sending traffic to a basic squeeze page with no content have been over for quite some time.

Google wants to maintain their reputation of providing relevant content/ads of the highest quality, so you will want to make sure your landing page is loaded with quality information and content. Don't be afraid to add several subpages linked from the main landing page as well with even more content. The more, the better.

Additionally, use different landing pages to target different keywords for even more relevance.

Google adwords does not allow any advertiser to direct traffic to any website of sales funnel that that advertiser does not own. You should use your own domain name then from your domain name create a page about the product that you are promoting then have a call to action button to direct users to the product that you are trying to promote.

      Yeah, completely correct answer.

OP, you will need to get your own domain and hosting. Lately, Google started accepting Squeeze Pages once again )

  • Yes, you'll need a fully-blown site for Google to be happy. Not sure about Bing and Bing is cheaper too, so you might look into that. Facebook is also a great alternative to Google as they are cheaper and more targeted. Their demographics breakdown is about as precise as it gets.
