Delicious Traffic Question

Is there anyone getting huge traffic via delicious?

I had read on an article that even if the delicious.com is NOFOLLOW, it drives huge traffic. However, How to gather more bookmarks for a website via delicious? Any tricks :p

      I don't get a lot of traffic from any of the social bookmark sites, I just use them to get my pages indexed in Google and they do a good job of that. I guess if you were to get on the first page like ravijayagopal mentioned you would get a lot of traffic, but I have never had a story make the first page. I have had a lot of traffic from Stumble Upon, but they don't seem to buy anything.

    Most people might not get that much traffic from social bookmarking but to answer your question: YES, you can drive an insanely amount of traffic from DIGG, delicious and other such sites.

    As far as delicious goes I heard that it is easier to rank well in their system and thus get to the jackpot. Although I am not sure how delicious traffic compared to digg traffic. I was once on the digg fp and I got 10k uniques in the first day alone, plus other considerable traffic the days to come.

    Also, traffic may not be the only thing you are after. Getting traffic will ultimately mean getting attention. Other bloggers or webmasters will notice your site and they will naturally link to it. Thus you will have do-follow one way links. Those are great and yes they will help you, over time, get even more traffic from our Big friend Google.
