Keyword rich or EMD Domain having monthly 40,500 monthly searches and an epc of $1.32 and extension is .com , what do you think is it worth it ? any benefits or disadvantages ?

    It's impossible to tell - you haven't even told us what the domain is - how can we make any kind of assessment?

    EPC of $1.32 means nothing and exact match domains aren't what they used to be.

    Do the keywords carry buyer intent? Is the niche a "money niche"?

    Really, the only question is this: How much is a ready, willing, and able buyer willing to spend to buy this domain? That's what it's worth.

      Firstly i cant post links as it will be against the rules of the forum and second thing is that you said EPC of $1.32 is nothing well according to me it is , a keyword having super low competition and more then 40,500 searches a month can make me some good money atleast from adsence , and when you attract quality niche specific traffic to a site then any keyword can be a money keyword .

    .Com is a concern for branding and for promotional methods that require a domain name to be typed, such as a business card or billboard. Another consideration would be if the domain will be resold, as .com's do seem to have a higher perceived value.


    However, for SEO or marketing where people click links, such as social and email marketing, a .com isn't really much more valuable than other extensions. And with all the extensions now available, there's a good number of versions of EMD for each keyword phrase.

      google do say that they are giving same value to all extensions but still if you search anything on google u'll rearly or never found a domain of the extension .live , .tk , .cu etc ,,, so .com has it's own value

        Is that because .com's rank better...or could it be because there's far more .com's that the others and that the other extensions aren't as old or established, therefore domains with the newer extensions haven't had as much time to build links?
