Giveaways, Does anyone has any experience.

Hey Friends.

I am starting to build my list and I have everything setup but I just wanted to know if JV giveaways are a good way of building your list and how you promote the JV giveaways if you have no list.

I am thinking of using bum marketing techniques but I was wondering if there was anything else I could do.

Thanks

    Hi Mohammad,

Giveaways can be a way to start growing your list. Now, it's not necessarily a very targeted list when they come on through a Giveaway so you'll have to work a little harder at building a trusting relationship with them. Many won't stay on your list, they just came for the freebie, but that's not a bad thing. Those left want to hear what you have to say.

Give it a try. Even if 50 opted in and 30 opted out shortly thereafter, you've still got 20 on your list that you didn't have before.

Since you're on Twitter, send out some tweets about the Giveaway. That will get some of your Twitter followers joining and you can bypass the issue of not already having a list to promote the Giveaway to.

    Good luck!
    Peggy

    Hi Mohammad,

I agree with Peggy Trust is "Big" ..
I have talked too many to find out what is considered the best methods with gift and giveaway events..
Some of my finding of what works:

1: Having your own original PDF with links back to your site are the best.

I put a few more findings on my blog ...
