Viral Power Of Twitter Vs Digg/StumbleUpon

Twitter has been pretty good to me the last couple months, sending a little bit of traffic every day... but yesterday I got 58 retweets on a page. The most before was probably only around 15.

The viral power doesn't SEEM to be anything compared to Digg or StumbleUpon. If you get 58 diggs, it's time to pop open a bottle of something and celebrate... Not even close to as much traffic is coming in from 58 Tweets.

Do you find the same thing?
#digg or stumbleupon #power #twitter #viral

it depends on who's doing the retweets and what they're retweeting.

many people do retweets just to try and get others to follow them - rather than because they're recommending anything.

Sometimes if I see someone retweet I might check out the person and even follow them - but not follow a link if there was one.

I actually ignore most links in tweets.

I've played around a lot with twitter. So far I can only tell that you can waste a lot of time with it.

Yes, I made some money with it, but so far it does not seem worth the effort. But maybe I don't know everything yet.

You can definitely make money - I've made 6 figures from Twitter related activities in the last year, but it's not by spamming links.
