Clickbank Affiliate Links

Would anyone be able to tell me whether Clickbank affiliate links act as backlinks that boost the Google search ranking, and pagerank of the vendor's website?

    Yes. But only similar to any other link. Meaning that if the affiliate link is placed on a good for nothing site, then that link will not add any value but if the affiliate link is placed on a site with high page rank/relevance then it would add value.

    Only if you use the aff link in an anchor text link. So in reality it would not be the aff link itself,but rather the anchor text.

    No they don't, the hoplinks are directed at the domain clickbank.net, so the only domain name that might get backlinks is clickbank.net

      That's not true. The final destination of any redirecting link (which would be the merchant page) is the one that gets link value. The intermediate page gets no value since it does not have any content and is only a redirector.

    Some clickbank vendors offer a direct affiliate link, e.g. everyotherdaydiet.com/go/clicbkankid.

    I wonder if these types of affiliate links offer better SEO link value than the regular clickbank affiliate links?

    Does it really matter, unless you are the vendor in question? It is hard for me to accept that the link which goes to Clickbank and is redirected, with something attached to the end of it, could boost the juice to the vendors site. That is a very difficult theory to buy.
