Hey everyone, I've got a facts page that gets alot of traffic, what would you promote on it? Can someone suggest some great ideas? Seems like its a very difficult traffic to convert and make any money of!

A little more info would be helpful. Does the page has sports facts, historical facts, scientific facts or???

It just has a list of different facts, people that search for it and the traffic that I get is searched for fun, random, weird facts!

This sounds like those viral sites that you see all over facebook..

IMO for a site like this you need to go very broad and try to intrigue people and try to get people to share

Untargeted generic traffic is the hardest to monetize. What keywords are they using to find the page?

At the very least, try to determine if your visitors are on mobile or desktop/laptop and try offers that will generally apply to either. Something like printer ink for desktops and apps for mobile. You could also try something that appeals to a general audience like Netflix and Gamefly.

Affiliate opportunities that focus around knowledge might fit the niche, such as educational opportunities, maybe Amazon (books?), and possibly things having to do with entertainment like Kurt mentioned? Google AdSense might be another consideration.

Slap some adsense on it and see what ads people are clicking on. Let some data collect for a few months. Then, ditch the adsense and run similar offers yourself with an affiliate network.

Also, for generic traffic, you could always try the 'work from home', quizzes/games, paid surveys type niches. Anything that people in general would be interested in. I do this on several websites that are hard to monetize.

It would depend on what kind of facts your giving. Simply go to someplace like Clickbank and find a product that is related to the facts on your site. Backlink them and recommend them. People will see that, go to the and you'll get the commissions!

I hope that helps and good luck!

I think you have to think outside the box. Let's say you put up facts about video games. IF I went to your site and read these facts, it might be safe to assume I like video games. SO, what would you sell me? What would you get me to download?

Do you know that I can come to your site, download a trial video game for FREE and the company will pay YOU $1.10 for my download?

Not sure if you'd qualify, but you could try the clickbait networks like Outbrain and add some 'sponsored content' or 'you may also like' links to your page.

Google Adsense is best for niches that are hard to monetize, but of course there are other ways to make money like featuring Sponsored Content, or trying some Entertainment CPA offers...

    Every niche is monetizable
