What are the best social networks for traffic?

I am using facebook and twitter, Hi5 (very little), What do you all use to get more traffic?

    I used to get social bookmark (not network,, but similiar traffic IMHO) traffic but it's useless. I recommend you to get more high quality backlinks by submitting articles or building blogs and link each other. You will get traffic from Search Engine

    There's no absolute answer. And as the name "Social Sites" suggest, they are inter-related one way or another. So, use 'em all for maximum traffic..

    I also do use Twitter, Facebook and Forum Postings for Social Network, but the best way to get traffic is through Social Bookmarking and Article Submissions.

    well it depends on the kind of traffic you need. but I will recommend very few here : the warrior forum you are in now,the traffic swam, may be naira land etc.

    I agree with you.

    Here's a simple TRAFFIC strategy that I've been using...

    1.Write a 250 words article with some SEO tactics applied on it and submit at EZA

    2.Once approved, drive enough traffic to the article so that it enters the "most viewed section" as you'll get a lot of backlinks from other articles..

    3.Your article will have a lot of backlinks (1000 plus depends on your niche) and thus can easily get on Google's 1st page.

    Visitors click on your article from SE search, read it and learn about your expertise and likely to click on your bio box = More Laser Targeted Traffic

      Although I have only had an account with twitter just a few months I would have to say twitter is best for me

      Just make sure you attempt to "tweet" ALL relevant stuff to what you are "about"(ie. marketing)
      I say this because Google will pick up "tweets" and place them in search results a lot higher than most people believe

    Hi Jimerson,

    I'd recommend a gradual backlinking campaign, followed by a liberal sprinkling of backlinks! These will get you a boost in SERPS plus natural organic traffic if done correctly.

      doesn't it depend on your product?

      I've been studying both my traffic and backlinks and I can't tell that social bookmarking has done any good at all. I have one link from stumbleupon and that's it...and one from Twitter, which is interesting because I don't have an account with them.

      I'm trying to do what makes sense time wise and money wise, and I'm not seeing results from social bookmarking.

      I don't think my niches are cool enough...
