How do these fiverr gigs create backlinks ?

I was recently checking fiverr for backlink gigs and I came across some gigs that were providing 20-30 profile backlinks from some major sites. These included forums on microsoft, apple, xerox and other big sites.
I am wondering, that, just for $5 how are these guys creating around 30 backlinks. I talked to one of them and he said that he was not doing it manually.
Those forums are not ordinary phpbb or vbulletin forums where automated software can create accounts and profiles. I doubt if there is a software so smart.
Chances are that the task has to be done manually and creating 30 profiles will take many hours.
Anyone any idea, how those guys are doing it. The gigs are taking 3 days time for delivery.
