How Many EZA Do You Have Published?

I thought I would ask a question that comes to my mind every now and again being that I am an active EZA submitter with just around 200 articles submitted. I was wondering how many EZA do you fellow warriors have out there and how many are you getting submitted a day?

My articles just bring me in nothing more then xxx.xx - x,xxx,xx clickbank dollars a month feel free to share your success here.

I would also say 60% of my articles direct link to CB products, 20% to my blog and 20% to an opt in page.

How about you?

Have a great day warriors.

Nice very nice, Have you seen over time with the more articles submitted the more success you have seen almost like a rolling snowball effect?

This being said because so many starting article marketers never see the results upfront and become discouraged not knowing its a slow process that compounds over time. A few words from someone who's been there done that always seem to help the struggling marketer.

How come you made over $1500 in March (according to your free guide) and only a few hundred now? Just curious. Maybe I should just sign up and read it for myself

I have over 1000 articles published but I'm not sure exactly what percentage of my income is from articles alone as I use other methods of traffic generation as well. I'd say my articles are responsible for at least $400 a day though.

You'd probably do better if you did less direct linking - I've tested direct linking vs landing page alot and for most products (not every) I got alot better conversions from a landing page.

Scott, I think you have me confused with McDonald's.

Actually, I have a couple thousand over at EZA but I have articles all over
the Internet in many non IM niches that people don't even know about
      because they're under pen names.

I think I posted a list of topics that I had written for in the OT forum
a little while ago. Some of them would surprise you.

I have one. After seeing that I make no money off of that I gave up on EZA.

George Wright P.S. What's funny is a few articles from others mention my name. So my name is on EZA more than I am.

Actually Geogre I think you have 5. I included your url for your pizza site in some of my food articles.

I look at article distribution as one piece of the puzzle. I use articles for traffic and backlinking, not so much for directly generating sales.

What I do see is if I write 5 articles and distribute one a day for 5 days then I'll get a traffic bump. I put the articles on my site(s) as well as distribute them.

Quite a bit of our income is generated through consulting work (writing business plans) as well as writing services in general. The articles showcase our talents and help establish our reputation as experts.

We also write under 3 other pen names on subjects that are fun or profitable but not related to our core services.

I have to tell you I was a bit surprised the number of articles was over 1000. I would have guessed maybe 300 to 400.

I had a similar reaction. I saw the thread title and thought, hmm... I probably have a couple hundred. Then I logged in and saw my total was actually just under 800.

Tis the tricky thing with article marketing I have seen in my experience, at first when I was really pushing my personal envelope writing 10-13 articles a day direct linking them to opt in pages with my own personal product up sell on the back end was when I would do really really well. However, this being real life my company kinda forced me into full time and I kinda swayed away from writing as much to writing almost nothing for weeks.. now with me starting to just get back into it this month my income is only around couple hundred CB bucks but this has been that way on almost auto pilot... I am not directing as many articles to my own products any more being I sold off those biz's when I thought I didn't have time for IM ... But in my best days my earnings have been anywhere from xxx.xx to x,xxx.xx

Yes I agree direct linking is not as successful... but at the time was just the easiest non hassle way for me to automate my biz... I know wish I could go back in time and do it different ...LOL

It's a strange question to ask how many Ezine articles we have published.

I have less than 100 in Ezine. I think a better question will be to ask, how many conversions are you getting from Ezine?

I must admit that Ezine has the most traffic and conversion (to your website or landing page) compare to other article directories.

I think that is why Dennis was asking the question.

I have 31 published so far but not making any sales yet even if they all link to mostly one website. I guess I'm still patient hoping it'll work out. The only problem though, is that EZA have been toooo slow approving articles for me these days & I complained to them last week and they said it's due to flocks of articles they get now. I hope it changes cos it's discouraging to submit articles and have to wait 2-3 weeks for them to get approved. And no, I'm not blowing it out of proportion it's the truth...

Yes I think its effecting all of us... Ive recently seen wait times of upwards 10-14+ days...

I guess the best thing is to just write and write and load them all up... that way you have plenty to submit and plenty on hand rather then to write a few and wait till they get approved then start writing again.

I had my first article approved by EZA two days ago. It was an article I wrote just for the heck of it, thinking it would not be good enough for them, as English is not even my native language, but it went through. Anyway, I waited for 14 days before it was approved, and I almost started thinking something was wrong in the queue. Having to wait two weeks is ridiculous, no matter what.

I might as well go back to submitting to GoArticles. I have at least seen pretty decent results with my articles published with them before. On the other hand, I have an ongoing order with a ghost writer team here at WF, and so far their articles have been satisfactory and I believe it will be no problem to have EZA approve all of them.

Seeing as English is not my native language, it is a nice challenge to see whether my articles will be accepted by EZA, though

I did only around 250 articles between the beginning of last year up until March of this year. Then I went nuts and pumped out 650+ since then and still going!

Is it the trend here to call EZA "glorified adsense site" on here? It is the third time I am hearing these exact three words.

EZA might be made for adsense (should they have made it nonprofit instead? lol) but with the right resource boxes I get CTRs around 40-50. I don't think being made for AdSense really affects its usefulness.

If I were running Ezine Articles I would approve articles based on the number of click-throughs on adsense each author generated. If you generate revenue for me then I will approve your articles faster.

Do any experienced article marketers have any advice for some of the newer article marketers out there because I am seeing a ton of experienced article marketers drop by this thread that have hundreds even thousands submitted.

This goes to show you that something works, whether it be sales made, backlinks, opt ins, traffic something works

I do not claim to be a pro article marketer but I know pretty much how the system works and how you can benefit from it and make money with it.

My best advice out there to people just starting out would be a couple of things, number one being, never give up... this sounds cheesy but so many time people especially newbies give up with article marketing expecting to write a few articles direct link to a clickbank product and sit back drink beer and watch sales come in. That's not always the case LOL, you need to stick with it, keep on writing, even if you can only manage to write 1-2 a day and not crank out 10-20 a day like some of the pros, at least its something and at least it's progress. Over time they are going to compound and its the system of things you want to get down.

Also, do not direct link every thing, send some articles to an opt in page, give something of value that your market would want and then give it out for free and work your relationships with them. Become a master in your market through the power of knowledge. You can also up sell them later via follow up messages. So my best advice is to get an autoresponder (aweber , getresponse ... something) start building a list. I would rather get 1 person on my list a day then have 10 people get sent to my affiliate product a day via direct link because I know I am going to have more success in the long run with a list.

Keep pushing your own envelope and never start writing, start small and focus on making one sale a week see how many articles it took to get that sale and just keep on doing the same thing but only more.

Be sure to also link your articles together include them on your personal blog as well

Hope this lil bit of info helps someone

Ezine will not allow a direct affiliate link, you can purchase a domain for a small price and forward your link to it and put that on ezine.

I have 38 so far and have a long way to go. I do have conversions and average xx.xx to xxx.xx per day. Not all comes from ezine, but most of my traffic does come from ezine. I found some articles do better than others, now if I could just figure out why, I would be onto something.

I also have never had to wait more than 48 hours to get an article published but I also am platinum. Not sure how that happened but after article #11 they sent me an email and asked me to tell them why I should be platinum, so I did and I am.

By reading this, it inspires me to write more.
